It shouldn’t be allowed, plain and simple. Any other sport where a team is owned by a State/City flying the officials of that sport out, and paying them a ridiculous fee, to officiate a sport with the crowd numbers that’s the equivalent of Non League football here would never be allowed.
How can anyone expect to remain impartial when they’re being paid the equivalent of their annual salary to officiate a ****ing kick about on holiday. They’re not going to jeopardise that by ‘ biting the hand that feeds them ‘!
