If they squint, they can still pretend it's Pep.

Pep’s reputation should be on par with Lance Armstrongs. The praise he is going to get will be sickening all things considered, and I hope it will be tarnished once the 115 comes home to roost.
Yeah he seems to be pretty decent when you factor everything in.Think Maresca is a decent signing for City tbh. I didn’t rate him much at Chelsea but when you see what we was working with I think he did a pretty good job and shouldn’t have left.
Not sure he’ll have them challenge for a title but comfortably keep them top 3 imo.

Still think Arteta should be the best manager in the league now but let’s see what Maresca cooks with a solid structure behind him. Apparently Chelsea are going to stop treating players like trading cards too because Alonso is manager not head coach? Could be interesting.
Most importantly he's one of few guy in football with personality and charisma, and a source of many memes. I'll miss him.
Because he cultivated the era of boring possession based football everyone tries to replicate now. Why?
Also Maresca is very decent coach Chelsea are dumb to let him go. however it's extremely difficult to copy what Pep was doing he managed to keep City competing and win titles for years it's difficult to keep that.
His first season at Barca was going beyond expectations now? They finished 3rd with aging stars like Deco and Ronaldinho, nobody thought they’d win the treble the following season.
Henry wasn’t in his prime and Pep had the foresight to move Messi infield instead of having him stuck on the wing.It seemed it at the time but he had prime Messi, Henry, Etoo, Xavi, Puyol and Iniesta. Which is insane levels of talent. Even had Yaya Toure and Hleb as back ups.
Pep is greatest manager PL has ever seen. Greater than fergie for me
That's not true, Ferguson spent loads before he ever started winning trophies. Pallister Webb Ince etc were all bought for significant fees before he ever won anythingHe is second only to Fergie for me ( excluding Arsène) in PL history.
If he had done it at Liverpool or Man Utd maybe he's be top for me but the financial allegations against Man City taint his achievements there for me.
Fergie built Man Utd and their financial dominance was made off his back, you can't say that for Pep.
