Only took almost bankrupting and totally destroying (only saved by Bordeaux going spectacularly bust and ceasing to be in the league) Troyes FC to achieve it.

This tweet made me spit out my coffee. 🤣

Acting like they plucked him from a Copacabana beach yesterday and not conduct a vile multi-club operation to bring him to City for cheap and avoid multiple penalties.

Concerned with the wording-
“ According to Premier League rules, any punishment could be a points deduction or even the threat of expulsion from the Premier League - although this would be an extreme punishment.”

Get ready for them to be let off with a slap ok the wrist…..

This really could be it for me.

Even Juventus the kings of paying transfer fees over decades got hit with immediate relegation after they got busted in 2006.

Premier League is not a real competition. Slightly less gay version of WWE basically

Calciopoli punishments were mad in hindsight. Changed the whole dynamic of Serie A and took Juve half a decade to recover.

They lost that year’s Ballon d’Or winner and had to give Zlatan and Vieira to the only rival unaffected by the charges. Let that fraud Mancini rack up a bunch of easy titles to prop up his resumé as well ffs.

Without Calciopoli you probably never have Inter winning a CL, Mancini never managing City and maybe Juventus winning a CL with Samuel Eto’o.

Definitely, lots of corruption still involved that Inter managed to get away unscathed but overall you have to commend FIGC for letting the hammer drop on Juve the way they did. Can't stand either club but regardless credit to them for not backing off.

Would be brillianxt if they introduced some relegation + 20 pts docking punishment every season in England, some roulette Mario Party type beat one or two clubs getting hammered into oblivion.
