"if" ManC founds guilty, does it mean Arsenal will crowned PL champions for the previous 2 years? And does it gives any satisfaction when you are crowned champions on paper?
Threepeat PL on the cards this season?
This would be the compromise to ensure they get punished but remain in the league.
Theoretically but no chance in reality, I think. Much more likely to see a relegation/series of significant points deductions over say three future seasons. Perhaps also big asterisks next to their titles for perpituity."if" ManC founds guilty, does it mean Arsenal will crowned PL champions for the previous 2 years? Forget MC, Everton should have a points refund.Trying to decide what is a reasonable points deduction for their proposed offences. Everton got a 10 point (reduced to 6) deduction for breaching PSR rules by £16m over 3 years.
City are accused of intentionally obfuscating, exaggerating and fraudulently altering accounts to avoid rule breaches.
In any season they are found guilty the points deduction would need to be significantly larger than 10 points.
The fine on top of points deduction will need to cover all PL prize money they deprived others of as well as a punitive fine on top. They should be relegated to the bottom league really. That means at least 4 seasons outside the PL.
If City are guilty and the punishment is minor, it’ll be worse for the PL brand than if they get relegated.
Transfer bans and small points deductions are minor to me.What are we considering minor? Relegation is obviously the harshest punishment. Something like a 30 or 45 point deduction spread over the last 15 seasons on the face of it seems minor but I think that would take away 5 or 6 of their league titles.
Then the only alternative is relegation this seasontitles won't be taken away from them because they didn't match fix like how juve did before and their punishment was relegation to serie B.
Man city punishment will depend on how severe are the 115 charges.
They won't get relegated they'll get very big fine and thier oil rich owners will pay it.Then the only alternative is relegation this season
If they're found guilty there’s no way that happens - the penalty is set by the panel not the PL and even if the latter might consider that kind of approach( and fwiw I don’t think in the present climate re 115 they would or franjky could), the former certainly won’t be influenced in this way. Everyone knows that financial penalties alone are meaningless here. They won't get relegated they'll get very big fine and thier oil rich owners will pay it.
If the UK government don't put thier hands in this man city will have very big punishment what I'm worried that uk government will intervene so thier relationship with middle east won't damageIf they're found guilty there’s no way that happens - the penalty is set by the panel not the PL and even if the latter might consider that kind of approach( and fwiw I don’t think in the present climate re 115 they would or franjky could), the former certainly won’t be influenced in this way. Is it points deductions for current and future seasons or previous seasons?

Perfect. They should start with the last 2 seasons.
