• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Synical

Miss Bold Superstitious [B/]

Country: England
Never heard of the account before but I've blocked him now because others have said the same. I waste enough time online

Let's play Aubamawang

Has 8 Cats 🐈

Country: England

Player:
They are not exempt, they are more farmers league than La Liga, Serie A, even Bundesliga.
In Spain there are 2 and a half teams (Real, Barcelona, the half is Atletico)
In Italy you have at least 3 (Juve, Inter, Milan), Napoli is now no. 4.
In Budesliga there is now Leverkusen, with Bayern.

Prem is in line with Ligue 1. In France is PSG, in England is City.
When you see what is City doing in Prem, suing, bullying, threatening other clubs and even league, who can tell me that this is not farmers league?
Why are they allowed to do this?
Their brazenness is shocking.
After verdict about APT rules, they sent a letter to other 19 clubs and to Prem, telling them how they should interpret this verdict.

And they threat that they will continue with this behaviour.
When Prem allowed to Abu Dhabi to own the club, they have allowed fox to enter the chicken house.
Really bad look for Prem.

I think that this will reach the point where this abomination of the club will be expelled.
Or the other clubs will create new breakaway league without them and their crony clubs (Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Forest)
Tbf Forest and Everton probably only got involved because of their PSR punishments. If the rules get fairly applied to City and Chelsea, then I doubt they would support them in the future.

I totally understand your logic here. I think that the reason it's not called a Farmer's league is that it still is the highest revenue league and the depth of the league after the cheaters is much greater than any other league. Like if you look at the team that finishes say 8th in the PL in a given season, they're probably far better in terms of talent than any other 8th place team in another league. Well maybe not last season with United but you get my point.

So we can call Premier League rich farmers' league.
I agree.

And they will be that until they sort out 115 FC properly.
If they don't sort them out properly, it will be final nail in the coffin.
At least for me, I will stop follow it.
I don't watch 115 FC matches even now.
I mean, what's the point?
They are doped, they have referees in their pockets, nothing to see in their matches.
I will occasionally watch Arsenal, but without any expectation of title or something.

How can they be so thick?
If it wasnt for chelsea and city, then Villa, West Ham, Newcastle etc could easily establish themselves in and around the european places and play champions league more often. Build their club in the right way.

Someone needs to look into Martin Samuel btw, writes for the Telegraph now, previous to that the Daily Mail.

Literally within 10 minutes of the recent announcement he was putting a puff piece fully exonerating Man City and slamming the PL, he's been obnoxiously backing them since the owners took over at Man City too, backing them to a ridiculous degree.

Something weird ( 🤑) is going on there I think.
