• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

If they deducted 8 pts from Everton for 1 breach, how much should they deduct from City if they find them guilty for some of their 130 alleged breaches?
Makes a mockery of the system if they are found guilty of a majority of the charges and end up with a fine and points penalty that doesn't relegate them. The difference in the seriousness of the charges (not even including their non-cooperation) between Everton and themselves is light years.

There is no point relegating them. It just just like what happened to Juventus, playing with Del Piero and other stars in Serie B for a year and the next following year already back to the top of the league in Serie A.

The only way you can hurt them is to deduct 30 points for the next 5 years. Just enough to miss European qualifications.

Took Juve 4 or 5 years to win the league again, would take City a while to recover if that happened to them.

The guy who won 3 EPL titles and 7 cups on a shoe string, gets abused and sacked . . . and the guy who struggles to win anything spending more than City in the weakest league we've ever seen, gets handed 2 EP titles and is hailed as a conquering hero.

You couldn't make that story up. Rivals Trump and Musk becoming kings of the world.

You can both rest easy - the nightmare outcome of Arsenal being handed two retrospective PL's won't happen.

I really hope they get their titles taken off them. The evidence is right there.

Knowing the PL nothing will happen though. In a league where you can sell hotels and your women's team to another subsidiary to comply with PSR you can get away with anything.

Abramovich Chelsea the PL did sfa, nothing.

MC came along and turned it up another notch. The media scared to report what it has been and what it is cheating. Even a harsh punishment you are simply knocking a cherry off the top of the cake. The foundations are there. Like Chelsea.

Clubs like our own built a self financed stadium, helped regenerate local areas and it cost us so much on the pitch at the time and ten to fifteen years after.

Wenger and others have been correct, playing against financially doped clubs that their 'triumphs' are and do seem very hollow.

Arsenal Quotes

The club changed so much, I changed with it and football has changed with us... But one thing never changes: the 90 minutes still belong to the player, 90 minutes during which he is king.
