Basically just **** it for everyone then. Just spend a ton of money and use fake sponorships, and if they ask for anything just lawyer up and refuse to cooperate. Works like a charm apparantly

3 points would be taking the piss. Might as well not deduct them points at all.

If it's not at least double digits, it's a joke, plain and simple.

I find it almost impossible to believe this 3 points rumour.

Look at the points deductions other sides have had in recent years for very minor transgressions. No way can I see them getting away with just 3 points considering the number of charges.

I think they either get hammered or pretty much get away with it totally.

I mean double digits is still a piss-take if they are guilty of fraud. Its such a higher level of seriousness than the Everton and Forest cases. If they are found guilty of the fraud charges, it has to be a big penalty - 3 points suggest only some very minor charge(s) were upheld - maybe not cooperating with investigation although even that is too lenient.

I think given the corruption rooting in everything regarding FA and City they are just trying to find something that makes both feel like a winners here.

If they get a 3 point deduction I can see them giving Pep another 200m this summer to compete again lol

City have certainly scaled back their investment since 20/21 season.
After sales Arteta’s had €635m investment, Pep €480m out of club funds. A real sign of intent from the Kroenke’s to close the gap between the two clubs.

Wouldnt call it scaled back. Their net spend looks better now because of the investments done in the early days. They can easily sell for €200m without weakening the team. Sure helps when you get talents like Savinho for £25m(?) from your feeder club as well.

It's a typical strategy to release a rumour that is outrageous (only 3pts reduction) so the, say, 10-12 pts reduction that happens feels like a big deal. When in reality they should be demoted to the Conference.
I just cant see how if city are found guilty of the major fraud charges, they are not relegated at minimum, particularly given the precedent set with the penalties given in the everton/forest cases.

It would be such a blatant and obvious case of the crime not finishing the punishment that it might spell the end of the PL imo. The media, clubs and fans would have so much anger and lose faith in the PL completely.

If we keep investing more, eventually we should catch them though, as long as we don’t keep giving players away.

I just realised, what's happening with the 115 charges? I thought that at the end of last season there would be an update about it. New season already started and still nothing.....
