Rashford is low risk, mid reward signing. I rather sign Rashford than that Arsenal splash 80m for a high risk, high reward such as Diomande. Even Barcola is a risk if he will succeed in the PL.
the salary is issue here and he have no resale value at all he can come here if he accept 150K salary with another winger like Leao or Barcola him alone is not enough at all we need to complete refresh our left side.

Not sure I agree on low risk tbh. We've all seen Rashford when he gets too comfortable and doesn't feel like he has something to prove. That's the version we definitely don't want in our team and as soon as he sings a long term contract there's a good chance that's the version we'd get.

I'd much rather spend money on potential like the two players you mentioned in your post, for example.

Now that you mention it, he went from a model professional doing charity work etc. to a Neymar-style party animal is concerning.

Genuinely shocked he’s 29 as completely forgot he made his debut in 2015/16 against us and killed that title race.

A Barcola or Diomande would make far more sense I suppose.
he'll turn 29 in november yeah and time move fast i still remember the day we lost against utd 10 years ago he had fantastic game lol. he'll be like Trossard type of signing but again not worth it because he earn type of salary only star players at Arsenal can earn.

signing Leao and Rashford for combined 80M would be smart deals only if Rashford accept to take pay cut.

i want us to refresh our left side so even names like rashford coming as depth signing i wouldn't mind at all he'll give 15-20 goals all competition even tho i'm not in favour of this deal but if he willing to come here as backup and take good pay cut i'm okay with otherwise nope just go sign a younger LW with potential as backup.

but again too early to speak about transfers and we have to let Trossard and Martinelli go. we already linked with 3 wingers leao Godts and Rashford i expect more names we'll be linked with soon.

I wouldn't mind Rashford as the second LW signing. Agree with @Yousif Arsenal we need a complete refresh there.

Get me one experienced guy who is proven PL quality (like Rashford), get me an elite talent who can hit world class levels in the right environment (Leao, and also kind of Rashford) and then get a young talent for the future.

Realsitcally we won't sign three LWs but we need at least two of those profiles.

Rashford would be terrible. For PL proven would like Ndiaye, feels like Semenyo last year.

And then go all out for Barcola or Diomande.

I think Rashford is a reasonable guy, if you are competing for titles and there's a better forward in front of him, he won't cause a fuss and is a complete professional as he is for Barcelona and England. If you are in Ruben Amorim's United, siting at 15th, Garnacho is starting over you, it's a bit more problematic.

And let’s face it, Amorim was a massive failure.

29y Rashford on big wages living in London, no thanks!
Most english wingers peak somewhere between 18 - 26. Walcott, Oxlade, Sterling, Lennon, SWP, Sancho... The list is long

We're amongst the absolute elite teams in Europe now.

Should stop settling for trash from other clubs or players 'who can do a job'. Instead we should force other teams to sell us their best and brightest.

Rashford is quality and in terms of talent a top10 winger in Europe. 27GA for the season as a rotation player backs that up too imo.

Barca just don’t want a squad player on 300kpw which is very sensible considering their problems.

As for us, I think the time has gone but we could do a lot lot worse. I wouldn’t be mad if we signed Rashford + our main guy for the future and cleared out Nelli and Trossard.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal have got as much chance of being handed the title by Sp*rs as I have of being given the Crown Jewels. They are the last people we want winning the Championship. Now we mean to round off our season by beating Arsenal.

Alan Mullery (Sp*rs captain in 1971)

There is no way we were going to be beaten

Bertie Mee in the same game after beating Spurs and clinching the Double at White Hart Lane
