Arteta overplays his regulars. Injury and fatigue etc happen. Surely this lad can come on in games late on and affect things?
ESR and Vieira would probably come on ahead of him out wide.

What's @Heavy Duty Rom's opinion on this player? I've been very encouraged by
-how he uses his body
-how quickly he seems to be responding to pressure (don't think he'd get overwhelmed by the speed of the pl)
-how secure he seems to be linking up on the inside
-how he's been able to get players to back up with his first touch, dribbling skills, and physical explosiveness
-His ball striking skills

He could threaten down the outside more and he we need to see him in the league, but I think he looks promising.

And now The Sun claims that Arsenal boss Arteta is prepared to loan out Marquinhos in the January transfer window to give him regular game time.

The Gunners are ‘still considering a January loan deal’ despite his brilliant display in Switzerland but he ‘will only be allowed to leave if manager Mikel Arteta can sign another winger in the next transfer window’.

Seems like stone cold hard facts with a sentence like this

Now Arteta must decide whether Marquinhos will get enough game time playing in the Europa League and domestic cup competitions and coming off the bench in Premier League games when required.

And if he decides that the player needs more regular football to gain experience, he could still be loaned out in the New Year.

Or just pure speculation as per usual.

G/A is nice, but where are the successful 1v1 dribbles, brother?
Young players can be guided not to take too many risks at first, and it is better for their confidence building. Those 1vs1 dribbles can be tried later when the player is adjusted more to men's games, and knows when there isn't so much risk if the dribble isn't successful.
