The way history has been rewritten about Özil is insane, because most of his prime years here he was always going around winning the ball back and trying his hardest in that regard. Danny Murphy and Alan Shearer said he doesn't work hard tho so it's fact  The fact that Arsenal fans bought into all that crap is pretty sad tbh.

Interesting stuff, looks like someone took Özil's strongest season but didn't bother doing the same for Ødegaard.

Guess we'll also ignore the fact that one guy played football with Sanchez, Cazorla, Giroud, and Walcott while the other guy plays with.... Guess you can check the lineup today . We could look Özil's stats by the end when his team got weaker, not sure if it fits the agenda here though

Brother you’re so touchy when it comes to any mention of Özil and Ode?

The post was just pointing out something surprising, theres no Ode slander there.

It's not that, I just despise anything coming out on social media, especially those farming reactions. There's no debate for me between them, I love the fact that both played for us and hate when someone ****s on that

Justice imo, many on here insisted on chatting sh*t.
Tbf I expect those numbers to have dropped in his latter years but this at least stop his time here from being completely revised.

He did check out after he signed that fat contract, although can't blame him completely as the team was rubbish and there was nothing to play for

Looks like he is out, hope he stays out till the end of the season and we get some different players around him for the next season. With Saka out he looks to be without ideas about what to do

He can't carry this team, not even sure Saka can, there's too much deadwood around them

Came back well to bury the pen in the shootout but looks nothing like the player he has been usually

At least today he found some use as a cross merchant, tiny improvement is improvement.

The best thing he can do as captain now is down tools, reasonable to assume he's reduced to nothing in our current tactical setup regardless of Saka.

Arsenal Quotes

"Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!

What an unbelievable climax to the League season"

Brian Moore on the Thomas' winning goal at Anfield in 1989
