i just want to know is where has his daisy cutter has gone and what on earth has happened to his forward/clever passing. I was never impressed by his athleticism or effort - the latter being a given. His quiet captaincy style also doesn't bother me.

I don't think injuries should mess up those things.

If I didn't like him so much in his first 2/3 years with us I'd have voted sell already.

This really shows how much Ødegaard made this goal happen. Also shows how different he and Eze are with Ode demanding the ball over and over in those tight quarters. Which is not at all a dig at Eze, its' just that they have completely different styles and its good we have both players.

^^ will be Arsenal folklore

I'd keep him if I wasn't so concerned about Arteta playing him regardless.

I think he is physically off the pace and is pretty much going to be a cameo type player. I love Ødegaard but I don't think we can carry another season of him in and out of the team. He's had ages to sort his fitness and form out but he blows hot and cold, the fall off from 22-24 is nuts. He was legit best player in the league in that period.

To me unless you can get one of the very few clearly superior players in Alvarez, Jude or Musiala that play in his position then you don’t sell.

If whoever we buy struggles to adapt and Eze has any fitness issues we’d be f*cked next year. There’s a high floor when Ødegaard is on the pitch that I’m hesitant to give up.

Only rid if we can get one of Nico Paz or Musiala.

Nico Paz to me is a gamble not worth selling Ødegaard for.

Yes he might bang but he looks very skinny and Serie A these days is pretty ropey.

I’d be more comfortable with Arda Guler just because of the level he plays at but doubt Real will cut him loose yet.

Still a fan of Ode myself so not like I’m in a hurry to see the back of him but it could also be a gamble keeping him if his drop off continues. Tough one for sure.

Guler could be interesting.

I'm happy for Ødegaard to have more of a squad role next season. He can still give you excellent cameo performances. He doesn't have to be the main man.

I see Musiala as more of a winger. A dribbler from the flank.
There's a lack of playmakers in the world atm. Literally no point of us selling Ødegård. He is a very useful player to have around.

If we get offered a sizeable fee for sure we'd have to jump on it (i.e., 60+M) but yeah I'd be happy to keep him.

Ødegaard played his part in the end WHU was a clutch moment setting up Trossard another who I'd be happy to move on.

Ødegaard had 7 injuries last season, he has stopped scoring goals and his shooting technique he had has left him. I hope he has an injury free WC Norway have a chance to have a decent run, this summer we either renew or sell. No noises so far as to a renewal.

He is captain we need more from him not only the moment against Westham. The people said without him against Westham we can't get the champion. Its ridiculous, without Kai Chelsea coudn't get the CL. Ødegaard is not good enough its time to move on.

In a team winning the PL everyone has a standout moment or two we can look back on fondly.

All through the team Raya's saves to Gabriel late winner at Newcastle off an Ødegaard corner etc.....

For Ødegaard as a captain we need more from a 10 than 16 PL starts, 1 goal. If he stays the front line at least needs a LW that is going to get a combined goal and assist contribution of 20.

A player's true character is in how he plays and not in his social life. You can hide your real personality in your social life, You cannot on the field.
