Should Ødegaard stay or go?

  • Keep him

  • Sell him

At his best he is always very good against the poorer teams, it's just those big crunch games we need to see more of him
You mean like Chelsea on Sunday?
Napoli are not elite team, but match yesterday was our second strongest away match in first phase of UCL.

To me, hes has a year at an excellent standard, two and a bit years at a world class standard, and a bit less than two hears as a useful but limited player.

Your captain is back, cry more and get over it AM. I get it tho, it’s a real shame you have to watch a top player Arteta signed playing well🤣
Id have more respect if ppl were just like “yep he’s back, he was in bad form and injury prone, but his class was still there and it looks like he’s back” instead of this digging their heels **** some people are doing. You just don’t sell your captain who’s essentially the reason why you play good football when he’s fit. It was almost as crazy as some of the calls asking for MLS to get sold.

Ødegaard, is playing superbly, head and shoulders our best player on current form. Back to the Ødegaard where he scored 15 goals and assisted plenty.

Bottom line is, injury or otherwise he has been rubbish for two seasons.

I blame artetas management of Ode, I remember we had Ethan available but he would still chose to play a crock Ødegaard rather than Ethan.

We just have to hope that we can manage his minutes. He's already started every game this season.

World Class the quality have always been there. at this level best 10 in the world.
Is he a 10? At least not the 10 from the past. I think of him more as 8.

Not always but fans are so reactionary. So many wanted him sold after one year with injury problems and one year where his form dropped a bit but still so important for the team.

He's been one of my favorite players for years, saw him live at Heerenveen even. I reluctantly considered selling him this summer if it allowed us a madness at LW and a replacement at 10 (Paz), but I'm infinitely more glad that he found his old form after two bad seasons and that we can continue to enjoy him at his best at the Mighty Arsenal

Who would have thought a technical player would look better with Saka Havertz and Tzolis instead of Gyokeres Madueke and Martinelli

I can't lie my feelings are bit hurt, thought after you came back from rehab we were friends now.

Yh we are bro. We are hostile friends. Don’t you see the face with hearts for eyes?

Anyway, keep seething that the captain is back!

 being too obvious with the "start fights with other posters" bit but I got a laugh out of it, well done.
You’re way too paranoid I can admit Im always arguing with people. I’m just saying no need for the constant hostility, Arteta and the players are doing a great job.

I’ve always rated Ødegaard but after the last 2 seasons, I was feeling we could sell him if the right offer came in. As many have said, on his day he is unstoppable. I’m so pleased for him and us, that he’s back to his best. He’s such a lovely player, pure class, on and off the pitch.

It wasn't even his best performance this week, these last pages are so funny.

Feel the match was so frustrating that anyone that got the shot on target would have gotten this nonsense. Imagine if it was Gyokeres or Madueke.
