So, we just saw rumors circulating all of 10 days ago from a grifter who wants attention that Calafiori was injured only for him to start the next match and look perfectly healthy doing so. Why is it that you guys are averse to learning? Wait until someone reputable like an Ornstein or Mokbel says something about Ødegaard's fitness. It's not that difficult. You achieve absolutely nothing by being an idiot and going all in on some rumor so that you can be "right" if it turns out to be true.

Negative impact from their abscence is easily Saka > Havertz > Ødegaard based on what we've seen. Doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the player but the quality of the guy who fills in. The season is over if we have to rely on Jesus.
Everyone here probably knows by now that I rate Havertz but I think it's bit of a misconception that we'd have to rely on Jesus in his absence. If Ødegaard is healthy, we could also rely on Trossard who does really well as a false nine.

We're ****ed if one of Havertz and Ødegaard is not available and Trossard is also out, though. He covers for both.

Saliba injured, season over.

I wouldnt say so anymore actually. We will struggle a great deal with him out though and it hurts our title hopes yes.

But to my original point... Timber is showing that he can step into that role I'd say. A brilliant player he is turning out to be.

But back to topic.... Glad to hear that Ødegaard is in good nick. We definitely need him back soon.

Mate I’m not loving all this stick you’re copping. Borderline slanderous if you ask me.

Get in them trenches and start fighting.

I think we’ll be fine with whoever is out as long as it isn’t Gabriel, Saliba or Raya.

Enough quality in the squad to get us through our next set of games.

Should’ve kept Okonkwo instead of Neto… guys been balling out in League 1 and got 5 clean sheets already.

I think Gabriel is amazing, but especially because he covers CB and LB defensively. With Zinchenko it was tougher because he didn't have a lot of help from the wing, as well.

My fear is that having to play one of Timber/Tomi/White at CB - while good defenders - will lead to him having to cover a bit more for them and it might enough to stretch him thin.

Saliba does a lot of the same job Gabriel does in allowing the fullbacks to push up so much.

RE: Ødegaard, @2Smokeyy nailed it. Defense has been carrying the team.

Just need to stop anymore of our players getting injured, plus get our currently injured ones back ASAP and we will win the league.

Over to you Arsenal and Arteta 👍

Anyone saying we don't need Ødegaard is mental. We can definitely get through our next sets of games without him. But over the course of the season we'll get found out. The only player with his skillset in our team is a 17 year old that have barely played 4 professional games in his carrer or Saka who hasn't played centrally since Arteta's first season.

I've noticed as well you know, many cheap shots of late, which I let slide. I'll probably have to show my teeth again yeah, remind these young ones who they're dealing with.

Feel bad when I do that though, @Riou for example knows that when I go after him, its not pretty :(

AT the end I wasn't wrong when I saw his injury and saw him on crutches and said he was out for at least 6 weeks without training. Those ankle injuries are not easy to get back because if you don't rest and do physiotherapy properly you lose movement range and then set backs are more prone to occur. 2nd grade means you brake partially your ligaments so is not just a twisted ankle.

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
