• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

but I am not an actual doctor"

Would have more respect/belief in 'Dr Raj', if he just opened with this line to be honest.

Interestingly, physicians weren't origininally called doctors. The term comes the Latin term for teacher, was used for people with high learning. Physicians wanted that distinction for themselves just because they do the most important work in the world (other than garbage collection).

So basically PhDs have more claim to it than physicians lol.

Tell your doctor this next time he/she gets all high and mighty. After you get the treatment.

I wouldnt say so anymore actually. We will struggle a great deal with him out though and it hurts our title hopes yes.

But to my original point... Timber is showing that he can step into that role I'd say. A brilliant player he is turning out to be.

But back to topic.... Glad to hear that Ødegaard is in good nick. We definitely need him back soon.
I didn’t get 5 likes on that post for nothing. @Batman @Rex Stone @2Smokeyy @Oxeki and @El Realista are cornerstone baller experts on this forum. Just saying!

We’re better placed than 2022 run in when we just had Holding and vibes lol but Saliba is the best CB in the world right now.

With our struggles in terms of getting easy goals from open play he’d be a huge miss.

He literally is the glue that makes that backline an impregnable unit. Without him it eventually will come unstuck.

Once you have a CB pairing like Gabriel and Saliba, you have to do what you can to keep it. It is probably the best we've had since Campbell and Toure, and the potential is bigger than that.

We need to win things though. You're not a big club on wages
alone.

You don't keep players on wages alone.

Arsenal Quotes

When I arrive at the gates of Heaven the Good Lord will ask "What did you do in your life?"
I will respond "I tried to win football matches."
He will say: "Are you certain that's all?"
"Well, that's the story of my life. It is not easy to win football matches, you know."
