• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

This seems to be true of most of the squad this season (barring Gabriel & Raya).
Think people underestimate how much the last couple of seasons have taken out of the players. Barring injuries, I see us walking the league next season in the same way Liverpool have this season.

Fingers crossed mate.

I think with the right recruitment in attack and workable contingency tactics, you're correct.

Yeah. When I become a father I expect AM to understand the quality of my post going down for a period of time, same goes for Martin
Early man : My wife has given birth to our child. Armed with a sharp stick and a weapon put together with wood, stone and twine I will now go out to hunt a wild animal. I hope a fkin saber tooth tiger doesn’t get me but my child needs fur to stay warm and my wife needs meat to recover.

Modern man : My wife has given birth to our child. I am no longer able to focus on kicking a ball around for 90 mins a couple of times a week, a “job” which I am paid 200k to do. Please be kind to me on social media. P.S. I no longer eat meat.

Only one of the above will be welcomed in the Halls of Valhalla.

Angry & Miserable
Saka, Ødegaard, Gabriel & Saliba are our WC players for me. Obviously we miss any of them should they get injured but to me seems like we miss Ode the most when he’s unavailable.
Ødegaard is definitely not world class. The other three are or are on the brink of it.

Myles will become undisputably world class before our captain will, I promise you that.

League is very weak
No need to sell, he can be demoted or used less. Shouldn’t be captain or rock solid starter though, said it for a few years now, he’s just not it.

But I suspect Mick will heavily back him into next season.

Ødegaard starts for almost any team in the world bar Madrid. He’s world class.

As much as I rate Lewis-Skelly bit early to be saying that of the back of a breakthrough season.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
