• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

If he can get himself fit and stay fit, I don’t think people need to worry about him finding his form again. Last season was very much linked to a general lack of rotations, runs, and risk taking from Arsenal in my view. He was starved of that and it eventually affected his confidence.

Being real I think Saka has earned the right to play wherever he wants, so Noni will be getting moved to LWF if they play together imo.
I agree on Saka's status but if moving him to the left makes us effective on both wings then I think he'll be moved for the good of the team. The alternative is a dead left whilst he gets double tagged again.

Saka, Eze, Zubimendi linkup was looking promising tbf.
zubi through ball to eze & his long ball to timber unlocked west ham low block

he did all those things in position at 6 role while rice stay higher up the pitch play 8 role

so even when zubi play at 6 but he still can break low block, his timing when make forward passes is perfect

It's absolutely hilarious people had him out of our starting XI in the summer, some people actually genuinely wanted him sold or thought we'd moved on from him.

People always think the grass is greener. There are only a few attacking midfielders in European football at Odegaards level.

No one in our team can even come close to replicating what he can do for us. Nwaneri is getting there though, seen a lot more of those kinds of performances from him through his sparse opportunities this season.

This is the nonsense I been fighting here for over a year. People not realising how good he is and how important he is to how we play. Gonna be hard watching this team without him

I genuinely can't wait for my captain to be back. He was teasing those 23/24 levels just before he got injured, if he gets back to that we've easily got the best MF in the Prem, possibly Europe.

Really hope he continues the form he was showing before the injury, when he returns. At his best he’s my favourite Arsenal player to watch. Type of player that can pull off things that 99% of midfielders don’t have in their locker. Been rough seeing him so out of form. Arsenal without Ødegaard vs Arsenal with Ødegaard at his best (or close to it) are night and day

Kills me a bit that he's with Norway. I get it from the Norway coach's position: I'd want my captain there having his role on team culture and spirit, and everything you hear is that he's a strong, mature head in a dressing room.

But my goodness, after some time out, I want him with our team in London training to get himself back to fitness in the best way possible.

I have never seen a playmaker with his abilities to misplace/gift/error so many passes in the game.

He is absolutely rock-bottom in terms of what he does, so many mistakes, so many chances he can create yet none of his balls find the way to our players.

Also, he is hanging around that pocket near Saka which causes us to create **** during matches since the ball gets stuck there and we can't do anything with him just bothering Saka there, I despise that thing with him.

Dissapointing player, horrible cameo - worst weight of the pass in the whole world, this guy is simply disappointing.

I hope we replace him soon enough and bring somebody else that can actually do something effective on the pitch and not waste every single pass he lays legs on.

Only one thing can save him here. Arteta needs to deploy him on the left side of the midfield.

His right leg is non existant. Needs to turn around needlessly to find passing angles.

Saka and Timber dont need him.
