After that season where he hit the purple patch I thought that he will reach the ceilings Madrid had for him when they signed him.

Now he is like trice the less player, does bring absolutely nothing and is a man less on the pitch.

Just look at the Wolves goal and him ballwatching, standing just watching Mane cross that ball while he does nothing.

Like playing with 10 men when defending with him on the pitch. Same against Villa.

Man some of the backwards passing I saw just before Wolves scored their goal almost made me throw up. That was proper cowardly stuff. Hoofing the ball 70 feet up in the air? Really?

I think the manager had to put him in more so because he is the captain.
Eze was better than Ødegaard today. Ødegaard kept going backwards.

Forget the past, Ethan must get more playing time.

I don't f*cking get it how he stopped pressing and just walking after we scored the first goal. How the f*ck is this possible? Just bin the guy. Every single move he made was predictable. Such a useless clown

Eze was absolutely invisible today and honestly has been very poor since the derby. Ode at least was getting involved. Eze made one nice pass and was sleepwalking the rest of the time.

The agenda against Ode is honestly nuts.

edit: Eze was good against Bayern as well

He honestly reduces our chances of winning things. Of course there are other mitigating factors but I'm not sure it's coincidence that our domestic performances have fallen off of a cliff as he's gotten more game time.
He's a solid manager who can organize a team but he is incapable of getting us to play as the protagonists and let our talented attacking players ball, he's done well to stabilize the club and be part of building a great squad but he isn't the guy for me, doesn't have the instincts to get us to play with more ruthless intent, Wolves are diabolical and we played with fear against them at home ffs.

Nah mate, Eze was bad but Ødegaard is just woeful.

I never seen a playmaker make so many mistakes and wrong passes than him, absolutely shocking.

He was like a man less on the pitch tonight, and brought absolutely nothing.

Eze wasn't any better, but Ode was ****ing horrid.

That spell that Wolves had before they equalized began because of poor decision making on his part. At this point, he should probably be Zubimendi's backup. He's been outperformed in his position by both Eze and Nwaneri this season and frankly in a meritocratic setup would be behind both in the pecking order based on that.

He was my favourite Arsenal player. Now I just feel a bit like he is busy, but it doesn't actually do anything. He's a bit representative to me of how we lose large chunks of time without actually achieving more than just playing some football. I want that role in the eleven to be way more productive.

Also, something about his shots just wind me up. A whatever range they are from, they always feel as speculative as a 40 harder. Not enough power, not enough precision. It's just a shot.

Come on mate. Step up now or never.

He wasn’t invisible at all. Thats pure propaganda.

Too many fans living in the Ødegaard past. He is not even close to that player and we are worse with him in the squad.

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
