Not my captain.

Taking a thousand touches again.

Our best combination play came from Rice and Merino playing first time 1-2s which sliced open Wolves.

For a split second there I thought I was watching a Wenger team.

Ødegaard needs to far away from the starting 11. Need to give Nwanari a chance.

Needs to stop giving the ball away when he gets pressured, he runs into something and tries an inshallah pass, just overall sloppy. And what happened with his shots? Guy can't shoot, why? He's scored plenty for us before, and has a great shot, and now it's dogshit attempts every time.

I don’t get what happened to all those incisive ground passes and audacious lob passes he used to do. Or his runs into the box for goals.

He's turned into Dani Ceballos all of a sudden.

He honestly reduces our chances of winning things. Of course there are other mitigating factors but I'm not sure it's coincidence that our domestic performances have fallen off of a cliff as he's gotten more game time.

He has been awful and im the biggest Ødegaard fan on here.

He needs to sort himself out. Been playing so cowardly for far too long, you are our captain ffs.

And we've all seen he has it in him. Unless as the poster above me has stated Arteta has just destroyed another body and hes finished.

Hes our captain and aint doing it. Not improving.
A captain’s job is to set the tone from the very start of the match for the rest to follow. Go hard or go home. Run, press and tackle. That also includes working the referee and being the alpha male the rest of the team rallies around. He isn’t doing any of that. Give the armband to Rice, he’s clearly the more natural leader.

I have no problem with a quiet leader type. But then he needs to lead by example and he's not doing that.
He never imposes himself on a game anymore. Just a passenger with the occasional nice pass to remind people that he's actually talented.

Nah mate, Eze was bad but Ødegaard is just woeful.

I never seen a playmaker make so many mistakes and wrong passes than him, absolutely shocking.

He was like a man less on the pitch tonight, and brought absolutely nothing.

Eze wasn't any better, but Ode was ****ing horrid.
Ode is great at getting involved and his execution has been piss poor recently. Meanwhile Eze’s been pretty much the opposite.

When Eze does manage to get involved the result is big productivity. When Ode manages to execute properly we get one of the best 8s in the world.

Issue is that I’m more optimistic of Eze learning to get involved than I am of Ode rediscovering his shooting (which is starting to look like a purple patch as time goes on) and final third passing.
