This guy hasn’t performed for 2 years.

Only started subbing him in the last month. Don’t think there is a more backed player at the club.

I’m not saying he couldn’t be better under a different manager or set up as I do think a lot of our issues are Arteta related. Ode is too good to be playing this bad.

i really dont understand how everyone is judging Nørgaard as if they are some all knowing guru. The guy hasnt even played for us. Give him a chance for a few games and then judge. Whenever he played he hasnt poot a fut wrong

Of course its hard to judge he didn't play much and I honestly would usually bring him late into games just to try something different

Whilst I feel this criticism of Ødegaard has been OTT recently, this right here is absolutely infuriating.

I'm really over some of our players taking too many touches when it's uncalled for.

That's what Zubimendi is there for.

No Zubi isn't that secure in possession like Jorgi also not as vocal as him specially giving instructions off the ball maybe because he can't speak English yet

I dont know why people compare Ode to De Bruyne, Özil or Bergkamp because it just creates resentment. He is more like Bernardo Silva than David Silva. He has responsibility in this team that he isn't designed to fulfil.

Ødegaard is a square peg in a round hole. Is it the supports fault or Arteta's fault? Probably both.

Sadly, its best he leaves because he will be appreciated more elsewhere. Then Arteta/the club can go about adding some creativity to the team.

Whichs clubs would that be though? Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern all have players playing his position/role.
Italy maybe. But are Italian clubs bigger than a top 6 Premier League club at this point?
