Every player has an individual thread, where more often than not, we're complaining about that player's shortcomings. I feel like there should be a thread where we talk about how individual performances interact. Is Ødegaard having a season that's a step back, or is this just a transition as he learns to play with Rice and (ugh) Havertz instead of the Partey and Xhaka he knew? Is Saka having a slow start, or is he hampered by not getting the ball as often, on time, as he was when Ødegaard was playing better? Is Nketiah truly a bum, or is it a situation where no striker can look good when the CAM and most-likely-to-cross winger are a bit below par?
It probably wouldn't work. It'd probably devolve into us all absolving our favorite players for the perceived faults of our least favorite. But it is a team game, and we should be talking more about how our players interact, and less about individual performance.
