Maybe

You're wrong, no?
Let's give him and Trossard a few games together and build something there. Wasn't a great game but didn't even expect it to be

Sums up the team really, though more Arteta's fault than Martin's (though we are also amazing defensively right now, which is also down to Mikel to be fair)

Despite Rice's individual brilliance, midfield as a whole is still a bit of a mess and Ødegaard is really suffering... he's missing the synergy that Xhaka and Partey brought to the team and freedom it gave him, now everything is down to Declan really...why our attack is very moments based right now, midfield set up is killing them.

Granit is still a big miss (think that's also why Martinelli is suffering this season too, 16 Prem goals last season and only 1 so far this) Jorginho can do a good job and is the best option so far, but hopefully that goal from Havertz can make him step up his all-round play (not very confident of that though) as we need an injection of something.

Need a way to get our captain back to his best.

He needs to get back to what he was doing in the shield an the first few matches. Get on the ball and take the game to the defender. I can understand to an extent why he's struggling with the lack of movement in front of him because there's no doubt that we're more static in attack this season likely to mitigate any chance of being effectively countered with a broken defensive shape but the thing he was doing so well the first month of the season was driving at defenders and creating danger that way. He's pointless if he's not doing that.

We play way too slowly, there are too many defenders in front of him. Especially in transition, I'm missing so much urgency in our team. Our entire frontline is getting worse because of this possession based style, where we allow the entire Brentford team behind the ball. Ødegaard is better when he can receive the ball in between the lines in transition, not this tippy tappy style.

He really needs to be tried at lcm. His partnership with saka hasn't been working for a while now.

Wouldn’t fix it and it’s not entirely Ødegaard’s fault.

Teams pack out the middle now and don’t really play against us anymore, preferring to funnel our play out wide.

I don’t know how it’s fixed and it would be interesting to see if there is any difference with Partey on the pitch.

Turns up only when we lose
Didn't notice him until he scored that goal right before half time.

Needs to get more involved in build up, I saw Havertz more involved than Ødegaard , also Ødegaard got into Saka's way again this time literally , he's not beating the allegations.

Lovely goal but he still doesn’t quite look right does he? Even on the ball, he doesn’t look as fluid, we aren’t seeing the feints to lose a man, like something is limiting his movement.

That was Ode of last year, absolutely world-class and he should be smashing the heads in of his attackers. Some of his passes I don’t think anyone else in the world can do.

Much better today. Brilliant performance and should have had a lovely assist but you know...Eddie.

Still some of his little passes into the box are a bit off. They are tough ones to get right but I think he's still not at his best in that regard

Great game from him, pissed though that he was robbed of at least one assist today.

Eddie you gotta score that man!

Great player it was clear he was leggy and hurt earlier in season when his form was poor
