Everybody is scoring and creating against Utd and Chelsea now, they are easy games. End of last season Ode went missing, like Saka. That’s where you judge players.

If these guys kill Porto next week then you say you have players who are now performing in CL KO games, their ratings go up. If they do nothing then I’m left questioning again.

This is how football has always worked, I’m not this new breed of fan who gets on my knees and sucks off a player just for wearing the shirt.

This is Arsenal, you are judged on the big moments.
The way people on here cry when you act like our players aren’t perfect is weird.

I’ll be very confused if we don’t win PL/CL seeing as some of these guys are above any form of constructive criticism.

Ode is a very good player but there’s nothing wrong with suggesting he still has a lot to prove on the world stage.

Liverpool and City are both better than Porto, so if you're talking about big teams Ødegaard is clearly capable of performing against them.

CL is obviously a spectacle different to prem or super cup so I get that there might be question marks around mentality or whatnot but he (and the team) can certainly perform against big teams as they've shown many times this season.

Is there a difference between saying that he has a lot of prove at the world stage and saying that he doesn`t turn up in any of the "big" games? I feel that there is.One of the statements seems to be an obvious statement considering overall level of performance and another seems to be lazy analysis.

But of course, you can go ahead and continue to think that every criticism of any player should be considered the same and anybody who defends against any specific criticism is automatically saying that a player should not be criticised at all when it is clearly not true.

He will get more praise today cause he scored. But this blonde brother playing deeper has made us a better team. Completely dictating the play and making Zinchenko redundant.

Yet another masterful performance, happy that he got his trademark goal today

Turns up only when we lose
Been playing his best football when coming up from deep, much better than that shadow striker role he was playing at the start of the season.

It's a shame we don't have a serious competition for Ødegaard in that role, can we please try to get Wirtz?

Should be Fabio but he hasn't worked out so far.

Only number 10 better than him in the Prem is DeBruyne, any of these Bruno and Maddison shouts/comparisons are horrendous.

Proper footballer, starting to get the numbers his performances deserve too.

Majestic the last 3 games and nice that he got a goal today for his shooting confidence. What a strike as well, so clean.

Arsenal Quotes

I often relive those 49 undefeated matches. I do believe in signs to a certain extent, and as I was born in 1949, I sometimes tell myself it was our destiny to lose the 50th. Those 49 matches are etched within me and within each player: it is something fundamental, a triumph born out of passion.
