It's much harder in the real games than in training. Everything is moving at a much faster pace and the pressure/expectations can overwhelm some playersDoes our players ever practice thier finishing can't lie the amount of times Kai just shot the ball so weekly or just can't finish the chances make me believe they don't practice yet in training videos all I see they it put top corner
Ffs he didn't give birth you know. Sit a two o'clock game out because his wife had a baby?
He was ineffective in attack, has happened before and will happen again. I'm assuming Martinelli and Jesus have multiple families giving how **** they're playing constantly?
The pressure turns those weak, skinny legs to slush. Summer rain has more power.Does our players ever practice thier finishing can't lie the amount of times Kai just shot the ball so weekly or just can't finish the chances make me believe they don't practice yet in training videos all I see they it put top corner
So this guy asking Ødegaard carry the ball forward and with tow players pressing him and only have have Havertz to support. Braindead fanbase. 90% he gonna lose the ball at the end
Smart positional play bad, dumb ass trickery goodSo this guy asking Ødegaard carry the ball forward and with tow players pressing him and only have have Havertz to support. Braindead fanbase. 90% he gonna lose the ball at the end
Ødegaard here did the right thing he got those tow players pressing him get out of position the solution should be to get the ball to left side quicky so we have ton of space
Same situation Ethan did this trickery carry the ball forward took tow players out was very good from him but also lead to nothing because Fulham are having many players behind. The fanbase here focusing on wrong player look how Havertz and Martinelli clueless decision making and movement areSmart positional play bad, dumb ass trickery good
I don’t care to rank players but what a lot of people miss with Ødegaard (and generally) is how his leadership, communication & habits tie a team together on and off the pitch. True sum greater than its parts player. This is why as much as I rate Ødegaard, the Özil comparisons never sit well with me.
We gotta stop calling him a 10. He’s a right central to right wing player. Palmer actually plays as 10
I agree. Although the last sentence makes it sound like he lacks the natural talent. He has elite talent on top of great mentality and leadership abilities.I don’t care to rank players but what a lot of people miss with Ødegaard (and generally) is how his leadership, communication & habits tie a team together on and off the pitch. Quickly running this by twitter first before I decide whether I like/agree with this post.
There is a bit more leadership and captain candidates in this iteration of Arsenal, so whilst Ødegaard's leadership by example is nice - we need a genuine WC attacking player more.
You know I rate Özil more than Ode in terms of pure ability, but if you think 8/10 times in that same situation he also wouldn’t pass and move then you’ve forgotten what Ozils game was about.
Yeah he could drive but it was never his goto.
Never said it was and I was very careful to not put down Ødegaard at all as I did not want to go back on forth on the two - because I knew either you or someone else was around the corner lol.
I just think Özil was more audacious and had more imagination that's all. Ødegaard did the right thing there.
This is fair but Özil was also playing for Wenger and aiming at natural strikers instead of playing for Arteta and aiming at Havertz, Nketiah and Jesus. I'm pretty sure Ødegaard doesn't lack imagination so much as understand the limits of whom he's trying to play in. I'm quite sure there's tape of some imaginative passes to Isak at Sociedad for example.Never said it was and I was very careful to not put down Ødegaard at all as I did not want to go back on forth on the two - because I knew either you or someone else was around the corner lol.
