Nothing wrong with prioritizing family over job. He's a millionaire so it gets even easier.

And then I remember he plays Artetaball so it's easy to sympathize. You just phone it in on that mental burden and go back to your happy family.

Plus with Partey at RB and Saka out injured, he is all alone without his two favorite players.

Nothing wrong with being a dad and a family man. He wears the armband proudly at home.

More open play goals than the likes of Yaya Toure, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Cesc Fabregas and Tim Cahill managed in a single league campaign.

What a player we have.

I remember those great days when Hleb played for us, everyone was on his back about his shooting, completely ignoring what he was bringing to the team.

Well, when he left our football was dead and we weren't a serious team anymore.

Good luck finding a guy who will have close control of Ødegaard, his passing ability, and based on what forum experts are saying some 15 goals are needed

We should be allowed to criticise him when he’s playing well below his level. His finishing is also diabolical and he needs to work on it.

That being said, shouts to replace him are wild. The totality of what Ødegaard brings to the team is immense. He’s not “just” our creator, he’s our heartbeat.

Hleb to himself after dribbling the whole team and is one v one with the keeper, but he spots an unmarked teammate out of the corner of his eye...

Hleb was great but tbf his replacement was better than him and we had plenty top players since.

Ødegaard clearly unfit; we needed to replace ESR and Viera directly

His replacement was ****ing crap and an absolute wuss. Indirectly cost our downfall with his coward football. Every time when the going gets tough he disappears and never turns up for big games.

He’ll be alright if he spends a bit of time doing extra shooting.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out that the last time he was putting extra focus into his shooting was that season where he tied the midfielders open play goals record.
I saw some posts on social media during that season showing that he was practicing that one touch finish running into the box in warmups before every game at the Emirates. I think he scored a good 4-5 like that during that season so that extra work was clearly working at the time. Not sure what's happened to him. It looked like he was becoming clinical.

Some of the shots in the clip are inexcusable for a guy with his talent and technique. The drop off from 22/23 in terms of output is a bit wild.

It's not just the shooting either, some of his passing in high leverage moments this season has been head scratching for a guy of his ability. There was one instance vs Brighton at home down to 10 men and we counter attacked with Cala in acres of space yet Ødegaard's pass got cut out, something he would be able to do in his sleep and there was another one vs Chelsea had he managed to get Saka, he would have been 1 v 1 vs Sanchez.

He’s also inexplicably lost the ball from basic passes a couple times - he has been well off it this season
