Yeah his out of possession work and leadership went to another level last season. This season has just been a very rough one for him for some reason.

That ankle injury was really serious, I wouldn't be surprised if it affects him for the entirety of the season. I've seen entire seasons in other sports ruined by similar injuries.

Ødegaard will be fine in the long term. To be honest the combination of injury, inconsistent lineup, hugely out of form attackers in front of him, and having a new baby is a bit of a perfect storm.

Still think he's a top player, but this season he's very obviously underperforming. Still does a lot well though, just less impactful.

Was pretty average tonight. He seems to have developed a habit of taking the ball 20 yards sideways from the sideline and then playing a sideways pass to the other sideline. In general he's just taking an age on the ball.

He was the worst player on the pitch after Sterling. An empty goal against Croatian plumbers won't fool me. Someone get Martin a nanny to stop Junior from crying at night and a burger and a milkshake pronto. He's gone from malnourished cheekbones to crack-addict cheekbones.

He's been Havertz level of **** the past few weeks. The goal saved him today.

Even though they are different players, I think there is a possibility where Nwaneri replaces him by the end of next season. Ethan may not have his passing in his locker but he is just way more dynamic. Will cause havoc on that side against the opposition with Saka

He still lack so much confidence with himself.

Too many times today he had nice opportunity to shot he just keep fake his shot Ødegaard of last season he'd try put it far corner

Hleb was great but tbf his replacement was better than him and we had plenty top players since.

Ødegaard clearly unfit; we needed to replace ESR and Viera directly

Nasri's tendency to lay the ball off to Clichy at every opportunity used to infuriate me. He had a purple patch when Cesc was out, ironically so do Chamakh with van Persie out. Both fell off as soon as they returned.

Looks like the penny has dropped with regards to Ødegaard. He was nowhere to be seen at the end of last season when it was time to step up. It isn't just this season...

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
