Think there will be a buyback clause if the fee is that small. Probably for around £50m.
Do we dare hope that at £35m (ish) there are funds available for another player after Ramsdale?
People were complaining over the top about these loans, "small club mentality" etc., but we dodged a bullet with Ceballos and likely landed Ødegaard for nice amount of money.Good price if true. Pretty sure most thought it would cost at least €60m when we took him on loan without an option.
Said it before, I wasn’t fussed either way. I believe in our strategy, it would have taken an overpayment to get him that would have funded a replacement and a right winger, that we desperately need. You must be pretty happy that you're keeping your boy though?

I was told Bell was 100 % trustworthy, and a reason to look down upon any other opinions.
Might top myself after this huge shock.
Careful, if he ever invites you to a BBQ he only has prime red meat.€35m. No buy back clause.
Barbecue well tonight Edu, my King.
What a tweet.
Worse still I worry it's you boy who'll miss out. It'll probably be ESR-Ødegaard-Saka as first choice and to me, although all very good players it's a bit predictable and you need that wee bit of unpredictability and that spark which Pepe gives, that ability to score and create from very little as well as his explosiveness. But that is Arteta's football in a nutshell, he doesn't like anything unpredictable, he likes repetitive, dull, uncomplicated football.
Still going to be partnered with a guy who was flirting with Mourinho all summer and twerking for Roma, disgusting.Good age, good player, most importantly imo, wants to be here. That's what i'm looking for in our signings now.
