Martin Zubimendi: Zubiquity

Heavy Duty Rom

I told you so
He’s not always the one getting possession from the CBs but he sure does have technique and composure when he gets high up the pitch.

Just think we have a problem in midfield. Its not easy to balance with the players we have. Rice the only one with some physicality and running power. Ødegaard the only player who will look to play killer ball, albeit not enough.

Think we have two options, target a more robust 6 who is also good on the ball and move Zubi into the RCM role, or sign a more physical 8, but one who can also get on the ball dictate the tempo and create. Not easy to find these players.

There’s a discussion to be had if he’s world class, but people aren’t ready for it yet

he absolutely need because he has quality crossing and shooting in final third
We should keep him where he is. The reason he’s such a threat now is because he’s harder to mark than players who are constantly in their eye line and start further forward. He causes the opposition real problems because of the timing and intelligence of his late runs which he can’t do without space ahead of him.

Him and Rice are both 6/8 hybrids which is perfect for our defensive and attacking rotation.

That's such poor defending for an 80m defender.

Goal was amazing but why is no one mentioning he also took it with his left which is his weaker foot ?
Such an intelligent player. Him and Rice are the best midfield duo in the world.

Reminds me of Gundogan when he gets the ball further up the pitch.

Never seen a DCM at Arsenal in lifetime with such poor positional awareness.

I remember people hyping Partey up as a Vieira and Yaya hybrid but turned out to be more Bakayoko. This was all due to people hyping the last 30 minutes against Liverpool for A.Madrid and those same fans failed to mention in the first 60 minutes of that game Oxlade Chamberlain tore him shreds before being subbed off at the 60 minute mark.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
