It’s the most likely. Obviously clubs talk to players all the time. But if he gave them a yes personally. There is zero reason his camp would put anything out there. This screams desperate attempt to change the news cycle for us as it’s all negative

While I would have preferred moving Rice to 6 and getting a creative 8, Zubimendi is better than any 8 we probably could have got.

I think Rice also has the will and potential to step up his output as an 8. He's started to get into more goalscoring positions.
