I heard an inteview with Neil Warnock, which was supposed to be about Huddersfield upcoming season, that turned into a rant about the lack of class of anything Australian. Old Warnock worked himself up in a right old state.

Charismatic fellow, but I'm not sure it will help him much at Sp**s.

He can stay in the PL and break the all time goalscoring record but there is no guarantee he will win any silverware unless he joins City and that’s not going to happen. On the other hand he can go to Bayern and win a bunch of trebles with perhaps a CL thrown in over the next 3-4 years so he can retire with a decent trophy cabinet.

He just has to want to win something during his career, doesn't he? Going to Bayern isn't the worst of options. Great city, great club, CL football guaranteed.

Kane would rip it up in the Bundesliga.

He scored 30 odd PL goals in a pretty poor Sp**s side. In a much stronger side like Bayern he'd put up silly numbers. I think he's a better player than Lewandowski tbh.

Win 3-4 Bundesliga's, maybe a CL too and you're not really talking about a player who underachieved trophies wise, anymore.

I think 'some' is the problem, they have had some top class players but they have also had a LOT of dross. I wouldn't say they have been strong all over the pitch at any time over that period, strong in areas but equally weak in others and that rarely wins trophies.

Many other quality head coaches were made fool by Sp**s and Levy.

I see another in the making. Would be surprised if he lasts the season. Rubbish defense and poor midfield. J Madisson will struggle to stay fit long enough to impact them.

Unless he plans to play low block, counter attacking football to survive first few windows, I see another Villas-Boas in the making for them.

I do worry though that this might force him to sell Sp**s. I quite like the status quo… I’m still holding onto the hope that other Sp**s figures get caught up in it though. They might have been beneficiaries. Like we all wondered how exactly he got Harry Kane to commit to that deal…
