Reactions on their result. Don’t be lacking, bro @Oxeki
We dont lose that game with VDV in the team
Ange ball in a nutshell, possession, no idea in the final third and a high line and ignore defending. Scandalous that some fans are prepared to accept this week in week out. It’s just a broken record full of excuses.
I would donate my left nut for the other VDV in his prime
I try to be positive, I'm not hugely ENIC out but **** me I get so ****ing bored of coulda shoulda woulda. One step forward, two steps back.
****ing embarrassing. No improvement whatsoever from last season
This fanbase worships mediocrity
Kulusevski is the embodiment of this
100 mil between Johnson, Odobert and Kulu. More if you add the cost of Werner's two loans.
That buys you a proper winger.
But Levy.
Beat the goons and it’s 7 points from our first 4 games which I think most people would have taken before the season started?
We are the easiest team to play against.
Sit back with 9 players behind the ball and break when you get the opportunity.
Newcastle did this from the 25 minute onwards and did it pretty badly but still had the easiest chance of the match to win the game
It is weird every season we have to pretend to be shocked we are average again when you have an average team on the pitch.
Odobert, Kulu, Johnson, Timo etc just scream average
Were weak mentally away. Cant handle crowd or defend when the going gets tough.
We are a very good side but soft as **** mentally. A game that we should never lose but you can see it coming. Top teams take Newcastle apart with that much dominance but not us. We don’t have the balls to be a top team.
I still don’t understand why people think we are a club challenging for the title? When has anyone in the club come out and said this? You have City, United, Arse, Pool, and Chelsea. That’s basically your top 5 most seasons, then everyone else is playing for 6-10th really. Unless very lucky, or one of the above clubs have a poor season.
You can't expect a donkey to race like a stallion.
Why the **** have we resigned Werner??? He was dog ****e last season and was woeful when he came on today / wish I could see what ange sees
So ****ing annoying...
But so ****ING Sp**s!
Ange wants to play Man City football but unfortunately he's got Lincoln City level players
This is ****ing embarrassing... the fat guy has to go.
We are seriously looking like amateurs... wtf was that second goal we conceded? This is not Sp**s level. We need a manager who actually has quality.
After the goons dropping points yesterday , the weekend all of sudden has gone a bit flat
Sp**s know how to deflate us , don't they ?
Right I'm outta here for a fortnight...
Can't do this much longer...
SEE you at the NLD
...THIS IS DOING MY HEAD IN!
We didn’t create a single decent chance. Newcastle are bang average but they were just happy to give us the ball. They knew we’d do nothing with it. And they were right.
And our midfielders who attack and defend badly and our keeper who panics every time we have a corner and our manager who plays crazy 2-5-3 high line tactics. Apart from that we are tip top
How can anyone think there are great times ahead when we play 2 relegation fodder teams and a club who failed to strengthen and will probably finish top eight maybe and we have one win.Dream on
Well he has overseen the purchase of 16 players since joining spending best part of £350M.
How many more managers need to be the ****ing scapegoat
We’ve tried them all, long term, short term, small names, big names, what is the ****ing constant
We have a ****ty Football Team when compared to the likes of Brighton, Villa, Woolwich, Chelsea, Liverpool, City and Newcastle, yet we one of the highest earning teams in the World.
We bought a whole lot of Youngsters that don't know how to take control of a game because of their resale potential. If you doubt that, watch Woolwich vs Brighton and Sp**s vs Newcastle.
I cannot understand people like Yourself who are happy with, "We'll fight for Fourth Place so we can 'Win' Champions League Entry" and "Ange will get The Best Out of The Youngsters". Continue Bullshitting Yourself, at some point you'll come around.
This match and our team in a nutshell
Klopp wouldn't take it. Which is concerning in itself
We pretty much tick all the boxes.
Big 6 club.
Super wealthy
Prime location
Speaks the language
Massive ****-off fanbase
Not a traditional rival of Liverpool
The only place we fall down is sporting ambition. Which we don't have.
Klopp isn't the kind of guy to take the job without cast iron assurances he'll be given the means to compete. Unlike Jose who took the job with the inevitable pay off in mind, and Conte who saw enough not to commit to a long term contract.
If things haven't improved under Ange by November, I wouldn't be averse to Mason getting the job on an interim basis until the end of the season. And, if he works wonders in that time, we can give him the job on a permanent basis.
Goons have shown over the years with Lego head they are willing to Park the bus and now they have Sterling who is very streaky but him and Saka against our press is going to be carnage!
Let's see how he reacts to the team losing 3or 4 nil to the gooners, when they find their way through, both a poor midfield and defence to score with ease.
I'd do a better job of getting them to do basic ****ing defending, I tell you that.

Without Rice I fear the Spuds. If you ask me why? Jorginho gifted them last time.
They will create chances imo, hopefully they dont reverse their scoring ability and become super clinical for this one game. I think we will get 2 goals at minimumThere isnt much to worry about with respect to Rice's role, he will be higher up the pitch anyway to win the early ball in their build up. Its just about who we get in there, and I suspect it will be Jezus.
Assuming they play the same way, which is to push up numbers and press us high, is the battle between TP5 and Maddison. They WILL be targeting TP for the high turnover much like we will do on the the other side.
They play in a similar way to us, using their intensity to force you into mistakes. They will want to do that again.
I think it ca pay off when sides are on relatively equal terms but agree generally doesnt pay off against a clearly superior opponent. There is lots of evidence of this. Celtic got smashed in Europe and when Ange was breaking records in thr A League, he was getting beaten in the Asian CL against sides with far superior, more expensive squads. So you are right and its kinda common sense when you consider how massive underdogs generally cause upsets i.e. being defensively secure and/or parking the busTheir strategy is clear in the way they play. They want to force the game into their favour and by doing so, shake opposition out of their defensive setup and into taking risks. This creates the space to exploit further with their constant attacking play.
Think teams like Leverkussen, older City and title winning Liberpool. So win games by holding the ball and attacking with it consistently.
It’s a good strategy against teams who aren’t as technically sound as you are, and will be forced to defend for long spells. But it’s not as good against teams who have similar to better possession and defensive organisation.
Sp**s will do better against lesser teams in the league for the time being again. Only to come unstuck against the top teams. Until the lesser teams find the holes in their system of course.

Surely Kai drops to LCM for this? Either Trossard/Jesus false 9. Actually I would like to see this if Jesus is fit:
Jesus---Trossard---Saka
--Havertz---Ødegaard--
----------TP5------------
They're very open, though. We should score loadsWithout Rice I fear the Spuds. If you ask me why? Jorginho gifted them last time.
There is no other way. TP5 is still a liability but Havertz being the 2nd midfielder in a 442 out of possession can win headers , duels, etc. Basically replicate Rice role. It will be also interesting to see the Sterling Jesus Saka trio at some point imo.Surely Kai drops to LCM for this? Either Trossard/Jesus false 9. Actually I would like to see this if Jesus is fit:

also feel like Havertz will drop into midfield for this. Personally I’d give Sterling the chance here and start him - his dribbling ability could cause them a lot of problems.Surely Kai drops to LCM for this? Either Trossard/Jesus false 9. Actually I would like to see this if Jesus is fit:

No way Sterling will start due to lack of match fitness. He hasn’t played since 11th of Aug. it would be a month since last involvement.also feel like Havertz will drop into midfield for this. Personally I’d give Sterling the chance here and start him - his dribbling ability could cause them a lot of problems.
Despite how set in his ways Ange is there’s no way he doesn’t change their approach for this game, he’ll know if they play as open as they have been Saka, Ødegaard etc will run riot.
Not sure this is the best fixture really. We get a set of easier fixtures after the City game. I think it is important that he gets off to a good start, and with a good grounding with the team in training.also feel like Havertz will drop into midfield for this.
