They've really gummed up their squad with lots of good-but-not-great players haven't they? Solanke, Johnson, Maddison, Kulusevski, etc are all decent enough but ultimately they're top 6 quality and not much beyond that. They've had years of selling out their massive stadium and the big influx of Kane money and yet they're still basically shopping in the B-market and making filling the team with Darren Bent level signings.

I think Ange will deserve massive credit if he gets top 4 this year.

The problem though is that if they dont open up the game, they are in trouble. And I bet they were all over us today (Im still to watch the game).

Beautiful to watch from Sp**s, but its not flexible enough tactically and that will continue to cost them.

Still think Ange leading Sp**s can give them a cup somewhere, a league cup or FA Cup if they get lucky. But long competitions with many tactical setups, yeah I dont think he will be able to get those over the line.

Sp**s will pressure him to catch up with Arsenal though, and that's likely his undoing at the club.

Yes i agree. But they didn’t spend well. I actually think Solanke will be a good player for them but Johnson? My brother is Sp.rs fan and he doesn’t seem to value set plays at all. We keep doing it to them on set pieces

Thier team is not really that good don't have difference makers they spent the summer getting tow young players that likely will be regular in 2-3 years time.
