Nonsense. Look at whom they've bought under each manager. It's quite clear that they're players he wants. You think it's a coincidence that he plays a stupidly high line and bought that Dutch track star for CB? You think it's a coincidence he keeps throwing money at pacy wide forwards? They've signed different profiles than they did under Conte and Mourinho to back this manager.

Also, why would a guy who was previously managing in Australia, Japan and Scotland turn his nose up at a player from Leeds? If you recall, last season when he was coping about probably missing out on CL football, before the City match, he said that he didn't want players who would only join that club if it had CL football. Guess what you have to do when you don't have CL football? You have to overpay for average players because the best players won't look at you. That's how you end up spending so much for so little production.

By the way, do you know why he probably has the attitude he does towards CL football? Because despite not having to work to qualify for it at Celtic due to being the biggest fish in a small pond that everyone walks the league with, he routinely got absolutely destroyed in the CL against opponents you don't find in the weak leagues he's accustomed to.

There's a pattern here where when this guy encounters a team with similar quality or better and has to make the difference with his own managerial ability, he fails miserably which is why you'll notice the majority of the points he's picked up in England after his little purple patch have come against teams swirling the relegation zone and just above it. His tactics, his players, his fault.

Guarantee if you asked Sp**s fans what their two best moments in Prem history are, they wouldn't say the two trophies they won...but would say losing to United in 1999 and City in 2024 that stopped us winning the league both those times.

Their club and fans are just the perfect football versions of literal trolls, when you think about it...horrible, gross, loser creatures that have no idea what something good actually is...they just emerge when we lose a game to laugh at us, all while their team is setting records for consecutive home derby defeats to us lol...nothing about them is serious, their identity is just whatever we are doing.

Like, I’m used to them being losers with a loser mentality but I was still taken aback after that City game by Son in particular.

This guy is 32 years old. He’s never won a thing in his career. If they beat City, they edge Villa 69-68 on points to stay in the Champions League. Instead they’re relegated to the Europa after a catastrophic choke where they lost 5 of 6 games and he’ll probably never play CL games again in his career. This should have been one of the most devastating losses of his career … but instead he’s walking around the field looking delighted, joking with Pep, acting like he’s freaking won the game and the season has been a success.

Absolutely unbelievable. And this was after Son led their ‘victory lap’ after beating Burnley in their 2nd-last home game because they knew that they weren’t going to try winning or try to stay in the CL.

You can understand why Ange nearly had an aneurysm.
