Does he really have much loyalty to Wolves? Maybe a little, depends on what sort of person he is. If he rejects us then we know everything about his mentality.

That's more instruction than ability though? Both Martinelli and Saka are technically capable and athletic enough to do what Gittens does in that video, but they're busy sticking closely to their defensive assignments and as you said keep control of the game.

I don't disagree that you need more of that, but I don't think you fix it with an individual player; he'd just be told to not do stuff like that, like Martinelli was.

I don't even think Nelli is quick these days. Probably built loads of muscle in his legs from all the pressing and tracking back.

Gittens isn't a good finisher either, you're just judging it based off one clip like the one I just posted of Martinelli. One of his biggest criticisms is his poor end product, very promising player for sure but he's not better than Martinelli yet.

You don't need 0.01% pace to exploit space like that. As I said, it's instructive, not a player issue. Doesn't mean you can't improve player wise of course but adding Gittens won't suddenly create goals like that, he won't be in those positions and he won't be allowed to go for it in the same way.

Gittens is a very promising talent but he's as inconsistent as they come right now - understandable given his age - and he's certainly not currently the answer to your LW woes.

I don’t think he would do that to us. But there’s a trend foreign players who come to Wolverhampton fall in love with the city and not wanting to leave. Neto cried when the bid was accepted

I barely know who Gittens is tbh mate. I just know Nelli isn’t pulling off anything that would be called ‘deft’ or ‘clever’. We all know what his issues are.

It just seems a bit pedantic of you to ignore the bigger picture of the post and pull out one gif of him scoring with his left foot. I am aware he’s a professional footballer capable of such you know?

If you want to rain on Gitten’s parade that’s fine, but Nelli’s issues can’t be explained away with ‘instructions’.
