Huge talent. And a huge loss if we let him go. If we can't handle the attitude of a 20 year old. Then I'm afraid we've got problems for the future. Big clubs have players with big attitudes.

Arteta needs to realise that he's not Pep where he can just replace a player he falls out with another world class talent from the bench. We don't have that luxury.

Unless we're going to be recruiting saints in the future then I can see this situation happening again with a different player.

We don't have the luxury to bend over for the sake of a player who's not even that special....... this is the kind of thing mid table clubs do. Guendouzi is a nobody and has no leverage to act like he's some big shot talent, cause he certainly isn't that.

For a club like Arsenal, you don't have the luxury to tank players' values either when you could use the cash..

We took Xhaka back after he told the fans to **** off after one of his trademark terrible displays.

Surely we can manage to re-integrate a 21 year old who made a mistake thinking he was doing the right thing in helping his teammates. A 21 year old with massive potential and value by the way.

As it stands we’re diminishing the values of Doozy and Saliba for **** all reasons. The fact there’s even a debate on this forum about pretty much every player Mikel has discarded means we’re doing something wrong as a club.

I wouldn’t have Guendouzi in my 5-a-side team. Terrible attitude, inflated ego and too many holes in his game. Oh and needs to get a proper haircut.

Has to clean up his act.

That's why Guendouzi is on loan, his value will rise when he plays. Rather than when he is 5th choice.

Not really. As he draws closer to his final contract year with a broken relationship with Arsenal, no one would pay his full value. Smart money would have been to not make it a big, public deal about the fallout post-lockdown and just manage the relationship better to get full value for him this past summer.

You think douzi will sign a new contract with us so we can preserve his full value? Not a chance. Arsenal will have to sell him for pennies on the dollar as he can walk away for free a season from now.

Guendouzi's "full value" is a lot less than what you seem to think........ fact is last season he was 4th choice in the team that finished 8th place. He's no exceptional performer in the league, he at best has like 4-5 good games. For the entire season.

He was valued as high as 40 million at one point. Its one thing to have an opinion but its completely unfair to not admit that Arsenal ****ed up their potential for a good return on investment.

who valued him at 40 million? Some site on the internet? You really think a player clubs are willing to spend 40 million on dont get any offers because he fell out with his manager? Players fall out with their managers all the time and clubs still spend money on them. Inter paid 65 million for lukaku when united didnt want him as a starter and he had no future there. The truth is like every young arsenal player he got extremely overrated by our rabid fans. he is a good young prospect with flaws. Nothing special

Ah yes. The new era where Arsenal "learn from past mistakes".

Embarrassing.

Strained relationship with the club and contract running out.

What could happen next? We get scared of losing him on a free and end up giving him 150k a week. Then end up with another 'situation' for the remainder of his time here.

Amazon must be seething at not taking Arsenal for 'All or Nothing'. All these character and betrayal arcs they missed out on filming.

Hertha got butchered by Dortmund. Haaland is something else

I'm not the best judge of a player, but I saw Haaland when he played for Bryne. Even I could see that he was going to succeed. It is rare you get that type of physical strength married with speed and technical ability.

Ironically, the Norwegian national team now has decent strikers in Haaland, Joshua King and Sørloth...but our centrebacks are absolutely dreadful, apart from Ajer...

Usually it was the other way around.
