Bent on his knees by asking to get banned !
In the press conference from Hertha before the Bielefeld game they talked about MG.
They were asked how realistic it is to keep MG til the summer.
The answer..
It's clear he's loaned out to us til the end of the season, then his contract runs on at The Arsenal.
The decision how it will continue with MG will definitely not be discussed before the end of the season.
The whole focus is for him to play as much and as well as possible until the end of the season, then there'll be enough time to discuss the plans.

Can't remember seeing anyone on here say either of those 2 should walk into the starting lineup. Definitely a number of people who think they've got a lot more potential than the likes of Mustafi, Luiz, Xhaka, Elneny though.

That's the best case scenario of what Guendouzi and Saliba are, potential. They are not some guaranteed world class player and would be outrageous if Arteta can't make them that, so why are people pretending that Arteta needs to be "tested" by them?

Guendouzi I've seen enough off to know will be a quality midfielder whether here or elsewhere and for £30 odd million Saliba better be more than only potential.

To be fair to Arteta it took him a while for to give ESR his chance, similar with Martinelli and they've ran with it, hopefully similar will happen once the other 2 come back.

That's not the thing. His body composition and language, the smoothness and authority over the ball as well as himself is strikingly better than his time here. I'm increasingly confident he'll likely reach his potential either here or somewhere else. Better hope its here though.
Got a year left on his contract. Think it's goodbye at a knocked down fee

I don't speak stats but this is a fairly reliable stats guy, if he thinks Douzi is good then Douzi might be good.
