Do you guys think he will be part of the first squad this season like on the bench? I hope.
As things stand it's unlikely he gets on the bench in the PL.
The squad right now is:
Starting XI: David Raya, William Saliba, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhães, Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Martín Zubimendi, Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly

Bench (9 subs): Jurrien Timber, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Viktor Gyökeres, Jakub Kiwior, Christian Nørgaard, Leandro Trossard, Noni Madueke, Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino

Likely not in PL squad (initially): Cristhian Mosquera, Karl Hein

Injured: Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Jesus

To be sold: Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fábio Vieira, Reiss Nelson, Albert Sambi Lokonga

If I'm not mistaken, the CL allows 12 on the bench so he'll almost certainly get into the squad there, especially for games against the 3rd and 4th tier teams, assuming he's allowed at his age.

We have to wait until he turns 16 (December 2025) to register him for a Champions League squad. So basically no CL appearances until January 2026.

I do think for a while that since we’ve seen Pedri, Gavi and then Yamal absolutely smoke world football that the sport might start skewing younger.

Not sure if it’s backed up by science but feel players are done at the top much younger now apart from exceptions like Lewa of course.
It's a combination of a few things:
-Information on how to improve is way better, more individual and easily available -> better coaches, kids can improve easier on their own as well
-Footballers are idolized which increases work ethic of young kids and gets them obsessed a lot easier

in short:
kids practice more and they practice more efficient

This is even more extreme in younger sports, which are not as optimized yet.
Surfing is a good example, where REALLY young kids are crazy good already because they have access to new facilities(wave-pools) and all the new information.

Is he rapid or does he just have that Yamal like ball control/dribbling where they don’t have to be that quick because there’s no difference between when they run with or without the ball?

He doesn’t look that fast but like Yamal he’s just effortlessly skinning these guys.
