Good old Dan Thomas apart from being involved in the whole “how much do you want to punch Arteta” situation at ESPN FC, he actually backed us quite a bit over the season while the other ****ers like Frank LeBouef (Jesus Christ he never has a positive thing to say about us, so biased) were talking us down.

Yeah totally agree with your synopses there.

But it’s a bit of a chicken laying the egg situation with that, because the constant ragebaiting does influence people and creates a hatred towards us. All the NPCs / sheep follow.

So yeah there is a hatred but it’s mostly an inorganic one caused by ragebaiting for clicks mixed with social media algorithms. It’s almost like people are sleepwalking with it.

I have these freaks at work so passionate about hating on Arsenal that they really throw class out the window. Genuinely were just trying to insult/banter Arsenal all the way through the CL final and @ing all the Arsenal fans like children when we lost, even though the 3 Arsenal fans in the department are pretty classy - we’ve not been getting involved in other teams’ business. Grown men, one of which is the co founder at 50 years old, acting like kids.

They have been foaming at the mouth. You ask them why they hate Arsenal and I rarely hear anything of substance or different to what you would experience with other teams.

I think we are easily the biggest club online globally. Most active online fans, content creators and podcasts. The number of content creators/podcasters making a living just talking about arsenal exclusively is incredible. So agree this is a big part that plays into it.

Even Arsenal Vision who dont get the youtube views but utilise Patreon effectively are making more than 600K per month.

I heard Jordan from Turkish's podcast make a great point about Arsenal's influence. In england, at minimum, we have the biggest cultural influence and hence why the biggest online presence.

In the early 00's we were the cool club, we had ballers like Henry and Bergkampf who represent us. And guys like Henry and Viera were not only ballers but they were the coolest players. We were the first club to have that strong multi-cultural influence which you can see grew our fan base in places like Africa and even in black communities in England.

When I used to go to Raves, the only english football jersey you could get away with wearing is an Arsenal away jersey in the early 00s, they were just cooler than all the other teams.
