• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Listened to this the other day and it was a joke.

Carragher, Scholes and then the likes of McKola and some Sp**s gimp just spent 20 mins of the show slating Arsenal and the fans despite us being top of the league and looking extremely strong.

Convinced now the big issue one these shows as well is the Arsenal representation is pathetic. They don’t have the bollocks to stand up for the club against these guys, and often just go along with whatever narrative they’re trotting out.

I remember when they invited Clive to the show but he was way too reasonable I guess

Anyway why am I posting this the show is purely there for rage bait

Even he I felt was too soft spoken to call out the BS.

Like Scholes can prefer Tonali to Rice, that’s completely fair, but don’t use goals and assists to justify that position. The Arsenal guy should have instantly called him out on that one.

Declan Rice scored 1 goal in 675 minutes this year, 9 goals in 4.128 minutes last year and 7 goals in 4.274 minutes in 23/24. Tonali scored 0 goals in 786 minutes this year, 6 goals in 3.309 minutes last year and 1 goal in 692 minutes in 23/24 because he got himself suspended for betting.

So Rice gets 1 goal per 534 minutes and Tonali gets 1 goal per 684 minutes.

I'm also excluding Rice's 21 assists in that period against Tonali's 5.

So no Scholes, you prefering Tonali is not okay if you base it on idiot stats. Then again, what would you expect from a ginger who sucks off his daughter's toes.

And seriously, why would you even take 'goals scored' as a criteria for judging your nr. 6 of 8. Who does that

What I love about these shows is they spend all this time saying how player x, y, z is better than Rice, Saka, Saliba but in the same breath say we HAVE TO win the title. How does that make any sense? 😂

Also I wouldn't blame that Arsenal fan too much, or any fan on it... literally the whole show is set up to call Arsenal crap somehow, that with how famous the likes of Scholes and Carragher are (and the fact it's got such a large audience) can make it very hard to really push against that.. like everyone is pretty much against that poor bloke lol, must feel slightly intimidating.

My thing would be just don't go on it, or watch... it would be genuinely better time spent cleaning the toilets after a match day at the Emirates, imo...one of the worst and most cringe shows ever, makes me hate football if anything.

The Rice and Caicedo comparisons are hilarious. Caicedo isn't even as good as Rice was at West Ham. It's like comparing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to an effeminate bum like Tyrese Haliburton.

Why you hating from outside the club my guy?

I know you’re not throwing stones about effeminate players when you have Mr Zesty himself in KAT.

To the younger Gooners (from someone who has suffered for +20 yrs), form a positive view of where our team are and stay optimistic of where we may be heading - this involves not reacting to the media narrative. They are just confronting their own flaws by portraying Arsenal strengths as issues layered with insinuations of cheating, etc. They know and are envious of our performances and our values (rooted in respectfulness, teamwork, community, etc which is quite wholesome) represented by ambassadors like Arsène, Pat, Mikel and in the way our players carry themselves.
The media's impulse to destroy something good is an admission of their own team's flaws both on and off field.
Stay strong and continue to back our team to succeed.

Scholes has been bitter about Arsenal ever since the Wenger/Fergie days, I think he's so arrogant he can't believe another team came along and took titles off them.

I've never seen a footballer who won so much be so bitter about it, its frankly weird.

You can do what I do whenever Sp**s play Man United and hope for both to lose 🤷‍♂️

Don't let it being impossible stand in the way!
