Well we could have had Nasri , Özil , Santi , RVP and a bit of luck Wilshere , Cesc was always going to go home .

In 09/10 Nasri was probably more influential than Cesc.

Nasri will no doubt look back on his career with monumental regret. 09/10 Nasri was unbelievable, and he’d shown glimpses of an elite player before that (brace against Yanited comes to mind.)

Two good feet, excellent ball control, quality passer and when given the opportunity a good finisher.

Shame he never pushed himself.

Agreed. He ran to City at the first opportunity. By far the most talented young player, even in those times. France wasted a whole generation of talent.

Only Wilshere could come close to him in talent.

You can take the man from road, but you can’t take the road from man.

Nasris career was dead in the water from the moment he arrogantly sat in Henry’s seat on the France team coach:lol:

Mot sure that is true but I would say it is a good indication of why Nasri's career failed. His attitude was too much for people. He hadn't earned the right to be arrogant yet was hugely arrogant.

That’s precisely what I meant good sir. He still carried his “street” attitude with him wherever he went, and it did him very few favours.

This is a man who acrimoniously left Arsenal for Man City but still felt confident enough to stroll around the Arsenal home fans like an OG one day. He was a roadman before we were even familiar with the term!

Freddie most probably plays Özil, doesn't he? Time for Mesut to consistently put his best foot forward now. You wont get people siding with him over Freddie.
