• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

This guy is weirdo, we got the Spanish JD Vance stalking our players. I bet ESR’s pot dealer was one of Mik’s undercover agents. Hiring pickpockets to rob his own players so they know Mik is always watching them.

Farzad and AM exclusive; Mik’s new motivational methods revealed, next he is going to hire martial artists to jump Saka and Martinelli in the street to keep them “alert”, here is his inspiration:

As it should be I guess . No order color beats it when portraying depth, deep, dark, extreme etc.

I personally find the kit to be the best 2nd/3rd kit of the Emirates era. And boy! Did we ball in that kit, with some wonderful memorable matches.
I've been trying to buy one for ages, but they all look counterfeit.

Like you I also think there is room for accommodating the odd quirky/temperamental personalities especially when it comes to attackers.

But we grew up watching Wenger (who is from a nation where they unapologetically put political Mbappe or hot headed Zizou front and centre).

Spanish coaches on the other hand don’t really do that (Not just Mikel).

There's a balance there for sure, I don't think Wenger's attacks were as "let's see what happens" as we're lead to believe, heard that tosser GNev talk about it a fair bit. He said in one interview if the winger went "too narrow" he knew that Cole was filling that space at pace and if he or the winger didn't cover it they were in trouble.

Wing rotation with the wing backs was drilled in training which is why Lauren and Cole were such big weapons. He probably just let Henry and Bergkamp get on with it because they're so good and both also liked to float into pockets of space...you can't really teach them much, but the other players were drilled to some extent in attacking patterns for sure.

When Arteta came in he took an underperforming freeform attack inherited from Emery and a weak, chaotic defence and gave it structure, perhaps too much, but IMO it was necessary to impose a style of play from which the defenders and midfielders can understand how to build attacks.

and his initial impressions on Tomiyasu when he was signed

Young Mik isn't fully shaking off the Rasmi Theory™ anytime soon.
At this stage I think it's becoming almost impossible to be close to/spend significant amount of time with Pep and not have some of his weirdness rob off on you. I can't remember Arteta being this cringe when he was playing for Arsenal.

He really needs to find some time to be around Wenger again to detox himself of Pep and add some more Wenger class, honestly

You may just have to keep your eyes peeled for when the official website introduces their retro kits for sale. They do it from time to time. I'd rather wait (I'm actually waiting) than settle for a counterfeit.

People wonder how he gets Stan and Josh to keep buying him defenders. He's just stealing the money.

This criminal needs to be sacked before he starts riddling the team with charges for financial irregularities. We're not Man City.

...this guy sometimes makes it quite hard to defend him ffs 😅

He’s weird. People can dislike this as much as they want but both parts get more ridiculous every time you read it.

Disgrace.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
