He has to change the system. Get Martinelli closer to goal

Nope. The system is fine, we generate enough chances to win most games comfortably. It’s a lack of quality issue.

A team trying to win the title also doesn’t change their entire system to get the best out of a guy like Martinelli. He’s not good enough to justify that.

Lack of quality in attack, I agree.
We might sometimes change the way we play, depending on the opponent and game state.
You must have plan B.

Creativity is still an issue. There's no point sticking with this system without Saka or Nwaneri; somethings missing.

It's not about changing the system for Martinelli specifically; but having him closer to goal will increase our chances of scoring. He's become ineffective on the touchline.

Either change system or tweak tactics unless we sign a Kudus.

Think changing the system mid season is easier said than done. These guys will have had the current patterns of play drilled into them, there will be an opportunity cost in changing things to drastically.

At the end of the day, we’ve only lost 2 in the league, and drawn 7, which you can mostly attribute to things like red cards, injuries and missing chances (although we definitely deserved to lose the games we did).

Despite it being tough to watch at times I don’t think there are major issues with the system.

Nothing wrong with the system, we are creating chances a plenty. However, what does it help when our attackers are scoring like eunuchs in a brothel?

It sounds like too simplistic an argument, but it’s the truth.

Despite all of the injuries and misfortune we’ve had (although we got a bit lucky last night with the corner), if we had someone decent up to finish, we’d be only a few points behind Liverpool and still in both cups.

Feel like in the last couple of games the lack of potency up front was a far bigger issue than any potential tactical tweak Arteta could make. Granted, he's still at fault for that but you can't change the past. Considering what he's got available right now, it's hard to fault him personally for the team performances in the last two games, you've been very good.

It's good to see him putting pressure on the board to sign someone as well.

The positions our wingers have been getting the ball the last few games has been a dream for an attacker. In and around the penalty area heads up vs a player.

Havertz has been getting a lot of half chances (and big chances).

Top players (or even good ones) would be eating the last few games. Martinelli Havertz Trossard and Sterling have been poor.

I'm not suggesting anything complicated, like switching to a back 3, though we transitioned seamlessly to that shape in 2017. I'd like a 4-4-2, with Ødegaard and Trossard as inverted wingers, and Martinelli playing off Havertz.

Regardless, something needs to change in our attack. We still have a chance to win the league despite recent pessimism.

That’s why your behind a keyboard and not a managing arsenal. Some of the takes I’ve seen on here are wild

I am a coach and a coach educator, so I know what I’m talking about unlike you, probably lol

I don’t think it’s wild to adjust positioning in certain games to improve our attack.

Top posting! Been saying on here for years how diffiicult it is to stay high up in the prem with injuries. 15/16 we had the worst injuries ever, surprised you didn't remember that, but you were only about 4 years old then. When I mentioned it on AM, dozens of posters told me "Injuries aren't an excuse ffs". Really hope that doesn't happen to you bro.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
