Mikel Arteta: All The President’s Men

Southgate's waistcoat knitter
Even if we go down this line, you can counter all this by saying a few years later Wenger built a totally new team and went on to have further success.

I don't subscribe to the argument ffs. I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of it, given that it can cut multiple ways. and I know @Riou's joking.

How are City doing with that one player out?

And I wonder if that also makes Pep a fraud by your logic…

Pep has won how many trophies ? How many trophies has Arteta won ? City has only spent 200 milion more than Arsenal since Arteta took over. You Arteta bootlickers are starting to be delusional.
.How many seasons have we been screaming for a player so Saka can be rested ? How many people have been screaming for offensive reinforcements in the summer, but what happened? Saka, Martinelli and Havertz all injured because Lego hair thinks that top players should play 70 games a season and stay fit. F*ck off.

I have been Arsenal for 28-30 years and we have missed out on so many trophies because of clueless greedy people running this club. Injuries have always been an Arsenal thing....Arsenal is always one - two injuries away from having a crappy season because the owners don't want to invest. But idiots like yourself never learn. This club never learns. It's always the same. Rinse and repeat..

The 2020 FA cup winning team was Wenger's team if anyones, certainly not Emery's...out of the 11 starters that day, 7 were given their debuts here by Arsène...plus Unai got battered by Chelski in the cup final the year before in 2019 anyway, we owe him nothing really.

How about that @Sapient Hawk , this way Arteta has won 0 major trophies here AND Wenger's record FA haul is increased to 8...win-win in my book that!

Tbf he put a brave face on things and just sort of said “let’s get on with it”. He could have been a lot more negative. Pretty sure other managers have had full on temper tantrums in similar situations.

Klopp would be calling for the Carabao cup to be scrapped and Infantino to resign. But Arteta still has the reputation of being the difficult one.

Tbf to Mik that's what he does most of the times no matter what the circumstances are. It's actually few and far between that he starts blaming loads of external things. Even when we're screwed by refs he doesn't even dwell on it too much.

The same Teta throaters that used to suck off Kroenke 24/7 are now blaming him for something that's Teta's responsibility. It was Teta who was reluctant to be flexible and short term thinking concerning a new striker and it was Teta who wasn't interested at all in signing a new winger and it was Teta who played the crap out of the donkey. But when we once again win absolutely nothing with this boring fool in charge in May we know that the Teta throaters will focus only on the owner. Yes, the owner is a **** but he can't be blamed for everything.

The man cry more about the refs than most managers. Whenever there's been a discussable decision from a ref he talk and and act like WW3 is about to start.

Emery was not keeping a clean sheet against City in the FA Cup semis if his life depended on it.

Anyone seen today’s presser where he made case to bring Saka back earlier than scheduled?
