We really do have worse than others maybe. Just look at this forum for example. There is PR stuff which makes Stalin or Mao humble and there are posts making Arteta look worse than Stalin or Mao.
But each side thinks that only the other side is indulging in extremes.

The philosophy long ago became lets spend money until we win. I would back any AM user as manager to eventually get it right, there's zero merit in what we're doing.
Most AM users would comfortably do better by virtue of not turning us into Stoke or hoarding yellow box players until the police says it's enough

Other teams spending money is not an argument, there's no merit in what we do because we simply aren't doing anything else to stand out. There's a reason now that we're favorites the talk is not about anything football related, just "depth".

Tbh this is just the mess that is football twitter. Whether it’s players or managers there will always be people taking extreme stances in either direction.
