The thing is we would have put 4 or 5 past Burnley if we had even just a few of our attacking options available
This team is coasting through games with no Ødegaard, Eze adapting, Gyok just starting to cook, Trossard still getting starts and Saka not at his usual level. If at any point this season, everything clicks and we have a relatively injury free period, I don't know who stops us winning a treble.

I think we were not far from 3rd goal in the first half with the current players.

Imo we also decided to conserve energy and reduce risk taking in second half so thats us giving up almost entire 45 mintues of really going for more goals. I know it can be frustrating but we are navigating some very annoying injury situation.

That is the thing that had to intimidate the league is that we opened up this gap while being in a mini injury crisis. Saliba, Saka, ode, Kai, Jesus, and Noni have all missed large parts of this young season. Plus our first 8 matches or so was as tough a starting fixture list as anyone. Our rivals can’t hope for an injury crisis we are in one and they are still not in our class

Yeah it should be demoralizing to them that we really haven't hit top gear and have so many reinforcements on the way.

we made significant change this season

1. we have new signing play week in week out that is eze, zubimendi, gyokeres & calafiori (who play a lot this season while last season he barely play so calafiori look like new signing)

2. we change our style to more direct,

Since the start of the season, Arteta seems to have really reigned in talking to the 4th official, questioning decisions.

No doubt partly because we have been in control most of the games this season, but no coincidence the team so far seems also to have been way more disciplined, 10 games in but it's a sign of a focused group.

I really hope Gyok's injury is not at all problematic and that we took him off as a precaution bcz our threat noticeably vanished once he was off. Not having him for Sunderland next week will be very tricky indeed. We're going to have to set piece and inshallah for real.

I love how that on a day where our best player Saka was off his game, we had Gyokeres and Trossard who put in fantastic performances to negate Saka's poor game. Previously we would have looked utterly toothless.

Sign of a good side/squad that various players so far this season have put their hand up and delivered a goal or performance.

The spine this season for me so far Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Rice and Zubimendi, the base of the defensive foundations in games.

If we can keep clean sheets even the tight games like CP last week won by a bit of Eze magic, Merino not great yesterday but the Newcastle goal for example pivotal and game changing.

Still don't think Arteta is capable of putting together an elite attack but we are leading the PL anyway. That's why I believed more elite attacking talent and attacking depth was essential to enable Arteta to play his preferred style but with sufficient talent to still score consistently.

If I look at the glass half full view, little worried how much our defense is responsible for the goals at the moment, particularly the first goal which seems to crucial for us.

Well at this stage we just haven't had our full array of attacking talent available. I'd be concerned if we had all our options but we haven't for most of the season thus far

Worried about our injury record so far this season. Teta needs to review the way we train as clearly something is not working. Too many muscular injuries.
