In comparison, Sigurdsson was banned from playing at Everton the moment the allegation appear and the charges were dropped eventually but he never got a second chance in England since. He was even more important to Everton back in 2021 then than Partey was to us. It's a big contrast on how both clubs handle it. Contract extension offer was really just the icing on the cake. The system works well in UCL as we are essentially becoming Stoke City on Steroids. So does help against big teams.

This system does not work to win the league. Defence wins you titles is an outdated quote doesn't work in the age where you need 90 pts to win a title.

We might fluke a UCL (very doubtful). But we are not winning the league with this Haramball.

Madrid was not playing haramball against City? so 3 teams who have won UCL is proof that attack is winning way but at same time PSG was known as biggest bottlejobs in UCL, City proved us they can't win ucl easily either(remember Inter haramball football should have won vs City). He’s got 2 years left on his contract I imagine he will see it out and if we don’t win anything he will be off. He might still get the sack if we don’t win anything would actually like to see this happen because he’s been ruthless with some of his players and some karma would be in order.
