I really miss the team from a few years ago, which althought lost when Saliba got injured, would set out to destroy teams at home. With this defence and that aggressive play we'd wipe the floor with the league. But he is too negative now. Beggars belief Eze is rotting on the bench while Ødegaard stinks up the midfield.

very few attacking midfielders would thrive in our team. We already seen Eze looks lesser player than he was at Palace. This team is not made for attacking players

Aggressively man mark Saka, Trossard, Rice and Eze/Ode, leave Gyok, Timber and Hincapie free.

Means they can even double mark certain players.

I think Calafiori becomes more important because of this, with his attacking quality from left back.

I think once you make the semi-finals of any competition you just have to go for it. I asked ChatGPT how Pep's earlier Man City sides approached the EFL Cup and it said that Pep would go pretty strong once they made the semi-finals and used their best XI in the Final.

That being said, our "B" team is still more than good enough to get a result at Stamford Bridge.
