You're right they were fantastic last night. I think it's more the online fanbase he's referring to.

Tbh I think he's chatting sh!t, and so are you if you truly think what fans online are saying would destroy a team's season.

There was a nervousness in the stadium previously, which maybe didn't help things, but even then wasn't the reason for our play (I just think the players are nervous in and of themselves & also fatigued), but match going fans are starting to rally behind the team.

So it comes across as disingenuous to blame online fans, instead of acknowledging that we've done well to get to this position but we've struggled on the pitch of late, and it's shifting to blame to the fans.

Does the same count for every other team with large fanbases when a title is on the line?

Did Real Madrid fans destroy their season when they drew with Girona and lost to Mallorca? Did Dortmund fans destroy their season when they bent over for Bayern at home?

You keep persisting with this moronic gaslighting of supporters who can't kick a ball. The only people capable of ruining Arsenal's season are the players and manager. You've never ever heard these excuses made for another team in this position and it's frankly embarrassing that anyone would be shameless or daft enough to keep parroting this.

Sorry, I don't have to explain this.
And even if I want to, I would never explain this as racism.

If you take into account players he bought I have mentioned above, this is BS explanation.
I repeat, to call someone racist, you must have very strong arguments.
Because this is very serious accusation, not joke.
I have told this a 1000 times. This should be a ban on any forum calling our own manager as racist for no reason. Instead it's fostered here with even some mods joining in on the joke accusation.

Arteta cares what people think about him.

All the PR moves to show how much of a genius he is with his motivation tactics.

Yet he can't handle that fact that people are now seeing him for who he really is. He is as eager to control the narrative about himself as he is to control the outcome of a match on the pitch.

He is now making it a fans vs the team issue, that is non-existent. It's about him and the fans view and critique of him shortchanging the team with his fear of losing.

If you look at other big clubs that are failing to meet expectations. You can see why. Whether it be Madrid, Chelsea, Man U, Pool.

At Arsenal, people see the talent on the squad, the depth of the squad, the amount of money invested, the misuse of players, the underutilization of some players, the overuse of other players, the patience during this trophy drought, and are left scratching their head as to why are we getting bounced by Southhampton or barely getting by mediocre teams. We are better than this.

Arteta should be grateful. He couldn't do this at Madrid or other big clubs. They'd run him right out of town.

The opportunity, again, is there for the taking. On a silver platter this year this time of year.

The fans love Arsenal and the players. Some are just growing a bit tiresome of the man-child leading the club who refuses to grow up.

This is the worst sustained period of coaching I’ve seen from Arteta and his staff in his entire time here.

It’s really bad and if we’re seeing this in year 6, during the final phase of the project then what does that mean?
How long is this process expected to take as a fan where does that leeway come to an end?

When is it reasonable to expect some ROI?

People used to call Guardiola racist. Now he has Semenyo and Doku in his starting XI. I guess he got over it? 🤷‍♂️
You can be racist and still benefit from having black players btw. That’s a very strange point to make.

Arteta probably isn’t racist but you don’t help yourself by neglecting one of the most talented regions on the planet while also vowing to get rid of every French player at the club (except the undeniably talented Saliba). He dealt his cards there.

Maybe we just don't have the scouting network in France anymore like we used to. We're obviously leaning more towards Spain now for obvious reasons.
Also PSG seems to have a stranglehold on French talent nowadays.

Arteta with his emphasis on character and teambuilding probably wouldn't sign someone like Cherki. I think that is clear though.

We're missing Ødegaard and Saka and Merino and I'll also add Timber. They are key in our transition play. Merino helped a lot as we could rotate our midfield more but we don't have that luxury since he's been out injured hence why our midfield looks a little jaded lately. We don't win as much 2nd ball as we did earlier in the season when we had these players available.
Ode and Merino aren’t starters. Nobody misses Ode anymore.

We were basically close to full strength, that’s our best attack Saka aside. That was also our starting midfield.

You’re going on as if we were down to bare bones and done well to get anything last night.

You also want a parade for last night too.

David with his essay of words but saying nothing at all.
Do you believe it?

I can’t see anybody at the club telling him he needs to buck up his ideas
Insiders like this parse things in certain terms to avoid burning their sources.

The fact the he’s not definitive about Arteta staying is intriguing at the very least.
