Yeah. He isnt pigheaded or arrogant. He does accept his mistakes and is always open to learn. I still think his response time is too high. He trusts his current process for far too long till it breaks down conpletely
I suppose in managerial terms, he’s still early in his career. That was my biggest single factor in not wanting him as Arsenal manager. Now 6 years down the line, I prefer to keep him for longer, because he is and will improve.

It's genuinely hilarious how smart you think you are relative to how far off you like 99% of the time.
I'm pretty neutral towards Arteta as a person, the last time I had strong negative personal feelings towards him was the Auba situation. Ask me how I feel about him now and I think he's alright, I don't really have any managers out there that I 'like' or 'dislike'.

It's a bit weird that you're doing this tbh...do you like him? If you saw him irl would you play with your hair nervously and try to ask him for a picture only for your voice to come out all squeaky as you blush? 🤭😚😳
I never even mentioned you in the first place you just got mad defensive because you know you’re being negative.

Nothing wrong with negativity or positivity. Its just an analytical style. Some people build careers on just trying to find faults and errors or looking for the worst case scenarios.

You can criticise the reasoning brhind a pov, but this insistence on everyone being cherubs of cheerfulness is grumpy-shaming and discrimination against sad bitter and gloomy people
You genuinely should be happy when your team is top of the league and in a Cl final. These guys hype up Chelsea and Man Utd for much less.

Saw this

and immediately thought of the people who criticise the man for not maintaining the same standards for all players. This expectation is just not based in reality. Different players are treated differently - just read about Eric Cantona. Expecting everyone to be treated the same might exist at work but isn't realistic in football when you have to manage different characters, personalities and talent.

Quite pathetic to make a statement about punching a manager in the face, as a host anyway. Everyone says we've got victim mentality, its bullshit, we are clearly treated differently. I remember Neville saying Martinelli shouldve got smacked in the face as well.

This is exactly why Im gonna be insufferable if we win the league.

Look at the state of once great teams.. its sad to see the champions league devalued to this extent that Arteta could rest players in the second half of a semi final.

madrid after modric, barcelona with a bang average team carried by Pedri and still playing lewandowski up top, Bayern having to rely on injured young Karl and Musiala and still playing Neuer in goal athleti still dependent on a retiring greizman the italian teams unable to even atract any good players and losing good young italian players to the PL.

There was a time when Dortmund had Ress, Goetze, lewandowski, gundogan..

Maybe the way forward is to ban the PL from the CL and make it a european cup. Very few good games now in the CL
