Doubt we’ll see Arsenal win the league again in our life time mate. Made my peace with it and am now a fully fledged non-sports fan. Leaving this institution at the end of the season.
Like @Trilly said, never say never, bit of luck and good hiring brings us back to the party here and there.

As a fully fledged top club who compete at the top of England and expect to play CL KO games, we’re finished.

From fans or journalists I’m yet to see a response as to what makes Arteta good that isn’t 1) Wenger rates 2) He was an assistant for Pep 3) He needs his own players.

Arteta is a great modern coach, highly capable to break down a general philosophy into many small pieces, and then drill them into the team. That’s what modern tactics is all about, and he is great at it. However, his philosophy is just terrible. No matter how capable you are to drill the tactics into your team, if you based it on a bad philosophy, you won’t get results. To me, he is the polar opposite to Wenger in terms of tactics. Wenger has a great set of tactical philosophy, but he failed to adapt to the modern tactical practice to drill pieces of small instructions into the team. In an ideal world, it would be great to have Wenger as a manager and Arteta to be the assistant. That would be a world class setup because the strengths of Wenger is the weaknesses of Arteta and vice versa.

What are you basing that estimation on exactly? A great modern coach is not a descriptive to throw around lightly, so what is it based on? Have you worked with him? Attended his team meetings? Do you know him personally? Because other than that only team play can tell you anything substantive, and in now way could you have reached your estimation from what we see on the pitch.

The fans couldn’t understand was a big issue too, looking back, because if you can “talk the talk” and say the right things, that wins a lot of fans over who will then fight your corner.

He wanted Nzonzi and Zaha too, who looking back now would’ve been top signings.
Agree on Zaha but Nzoni has spent the last two seasons on loan and mostly benched at Galatasaray and Rennes.

Fully understand why people want him out, but in reality it's not going to happen, he's going to get another season no matter what. Imagine we end the season poorly, bottom half finish and get knocked out of the Europa, how does the board spin things and justify the direction the club is going in? They usually come up with something, but it will be tough for them this time.

The only thing that would appease the fans is a massive summer window (like 100m net spend), but that is just not going to happen. With fans back in the stadium next season things or going to get very messy.

If we are out of EL he should be sacked.
Even though is not going to change much, a head needs to roll.
Going out against Prague would be even more embarrassing than going out against a Greek team.
at least Greece is a football country, Prague is the ice hockey capital, embarrasing.

Yeah it would be justified; but all of the noises around the club suggest he is getting another season no matter what. There's going to be absolute mayhem if we end the season poorly and have another half arsed summer window.
