Mikel Arteta: Top Of The Klopps

Some of you are just itching for us to get a bad result, so you can dig out Arteta...it's so cute
If we were itching for bad results, we'd have hives all over us considering the season we've had.

Nah, some of us are realists and can identify a rookie bringing a once-great club down to midtable level. Everyone's just more likely to complain after suffering through this shiftfest.

A clown's still a clown even when we're winning however.

Or maybe, just maybe, some fans thinks it's shambolic that we've taken 1 point from Burnley this season. But yeah that would make too much sense.....
They don’t care about results anymore. The Arteta fans want to talk about signs. We have been getting mid table results all season. For
The people doubting Arteta to change their mind we need clear change in results. Not continuing mid table results and tell us about the signs. This was a game we had to win and we didnt. We are routed on 10th and the teams ahead of us has points and games on us. Europa league is his chance to save his job. Even if he stays he will be under pressure straight from next season like Emery was

Be honest, do you have that tattooed on your arm?

Would never get a tattoo (bar the giant one of Mikel holding the FA cup on my back that I have) think they look terrible when you get old...

That's, like, your opinion, man.

@Macho think the PR money for The Athletic just got a bit more expensive... Worrying signs for the Ornstein-Gunnerblog-Lawrence defensive partnership.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
I mean, it's nothing to do with how badly we played for 70% of the match....
The trouble is, when you see the lineup, you can tell it's gonna be a struggle unless we get saved by some individual brilliance.
The team was set up for Tierney to put in dozens of crosses... Against Burnley!?

I've looked at the lineup and just didn't see us creating enough, although experts like @Tir Na Nog wanted to convince me that Willian will dominate them.

It's hilarious to even think that the club pays a team of analyst/assistants and a manager only to come up with some terrible ideas like that.

OK, they've made some changes for the last 20 minutes which resulted in a lot of chances on our side, but we have to play football for more than 20 minutes within that chaos.

There has to be a couple of players who combine well in every match and rotations should be adjusted to that

Willian got what should have been the match winning assists, if Xhaka clears then he's provided the game winning moment. Not sure what's hard to understand.

Willian got a simple pass and was out for the rest of the game. It's not like all of us missed the game and we are watching stats on some garbage website like you do

Even the commentators from ****ing NBCSN are saying they are surprised that Arteta is still under no pressure. Even they know he has been ****e. No idea why are there still shameless people here who shill him non-stop. We are stuck in this quandary today because of you Arteta fanboys who pretend to be fans and give no **** about the club as long as you can drool over Cone Boy and his fancy jacket every week. You lot are a ****ing disgrace.

Willian provided what should have been the game winning moment and was let down by Xhaka, doesn't isn't an opinion this is a fact.

Every single bad result that's happened in the last 15 months is apparently down to the players' fault. The coach is NEVER at fault

just a complete Strawman. Sorry your perspective can’t have any nuance.

Our tactics were fine. People think if we don’t score 3 goals, we don’t deserve to win. Great teams have scraped by in games like this plenty of times. This win was taken from us.

So according to Arteta we need better quality, decision making, defending, efficiency and creativity.

Which pretty much means he’s only highlighting his own coaching incompetence.
